I've just scanned the last two pages and seen the "contacts" mentioned about 4 or 5 times.

For the record I don't buy the authorisation excuse for the screenshots -- in fact it's an outright lame excuse.

Nothing's gonna happen on the 5th, these scans are from the mag most of our shops will be selling on the 5th, nothing new will happen now.

this year i am gonna buy both fifa and pes ... with fifa being first released that will be the first footie on my ps3 i think both games have there ups and downs this year so there u go .. but i must say ea have next gen under there hands at the moment

This was discussed before... The pitch in football is much bigger than a court of basketball. The crowd in football is 2x or 3x more than in a court of basketball. And the number of players in both sports is very different. The graphics of PES 2008 are bad, at this moment, but, WE KNOW very well about the importance of Gameplay. There is no point in to offend the game right now. We must wait for the presentation in Germany.

Since when has the site been dedicated to praising PES? I don't see that anywhere please do find me a quote.

I also hope the gameplay footage blows us away, I will be most glad to eat humble pie if that's the case - but if it doesn't, no doubt the footage will have been from a "pre-beta build" and we will still be waiting for improvement. At this moment in time I'm expecting something very similar to PES6 on the Xbox360, graphically at least.

This game magazine can fill in tons of pages with no piece of new information at all....

Well at least the copa america is gonna keep me busy for another 10 days.

voice opinions guys thats great but dont toe the line between criticising the game and people, Adonis, Suff and crew have seeminly pulled off an impossibility, how many other people could start a site and gain recognition enough to be even scratching the surface of press info? Theyve gone further than that and developed serious contacts and handed out nuggets to us that we otherwise simply would not have had. So please criticise the game but button the fuck up when it comes to taking it out of WENB or other people.

Some people needs to get a life urgently. It is really disgusting to read some posts here, and I don't mean critics to PES2008 exactly...

Adonis and Suff, keep on with the good work. In the end, if the game sucks or not, it is not your fault! You are doing the best you can to give us information about the game for nothing.

IMO, these are not great news yet, but it is good to see new info about the game. I will be broke by October after I buy PS3.

jeez guys. just let off Adonis will ya! if you all JUST LISTENED to what the dude is saying then there is nothing to worry about.

I have faith in what Adonis is saying and hinting at, and I trust that Konami will deliver good this time. But will it be the perfect footy game that all you doubters are looking for? Of course not, there will be some niggles and maybe some stupid parts, but I am confident that the overall game will blow what PES6 PS2/X360 out of the water and also knock FIFA 08 into touch.

BUt heck I am sure FIFA 08 will be good, just got a sneaking suspicion PES 2008 will just edge it this time. ;)

Adonis, keep up the EXCELLENT work and I appreciate all the work and effort that you are putting into this, even though some dont give a shit!!

You have a great point here. But that is EXACTLY why we must have faith in Konami. Is because of that reason why i believe in Adonis. We must wait until Germany or E3. Again: There is no point in discuss this, at this moment. Let's wait peacefully. :)

Fatlip you have no idea mate, i have a little side project for myself to try and figure out what there plan is and christ almighty its either blindingly rediculous or utterly spontaneous, they do themselves no favours at all, ive looked all the way back to pes4 and found that in many cases they seem to want their games to fail, either that or they favour the "lets keep them waiting" approach and rate it so highly because simply the game has increased in sales every year. Japanese games are marketed very differently aswell to mainstream European and Western games, all in all its a conundrum.

I have found some startling correlations that show that this pro evo is not only behind the other games in terms of info released so far but in sheer quantity and quality (visual) amount its significantly behind.

The reason we love PES is because its not perfect, its the imperfections which make the game real.

I mean have you ever seen the pitch at stamford bridge looking like thoes found in fifa? no, because in reality grass is that is organic and shapes to its surroundings.

Maybe its just because i hate our local EA rep, i don't know.

I mean the guy came in to our store and wanted to pay us to recomend EA titles to customers. Fifa over PES i dont think so!

It just typifies there attitude... and its that which makes me so much more loyal to pes.

Its great that you and suff have taken on the responsiblity and taking the time and effort to do this for the forum, and not simply be "armchair critics" like a small minority here!

whatever happens, this Xmas 2007 is going to be video game football heaven with both PES2008 and Fifa 08 both likely to looking very very good.

So guys just chill , whatever your preference - PS3, 360, PES, Fifa..........we are all in for one helluva ride this year\\:o/

pissed off with konami for what?? lack of screenshots, lack of hyper realistic player models with real eyelashes , lack of this and that. So much still needs to be revealed or confirmed yet. Jeez get a life.....


The game is not out yet......:roll:
