I really hope the ps3 version is much more better because otherwise i doubt of sony sucess with ps3
really i mean GTA 4 devil may cry 4 maybe MGS4 now Pes WILL definitely be the same on 360
damn im pissed off about them a 600€ a system for nothing !!!!!
Im praying for a better VERSION even if their not a big chance that will happen because the two systems are almost even in every way and ps3 is term of sales is way under expectations ( in US and JAP thats true !!! )

PES and WINNING ELEVEN WILL BE THE SAME ON PS3 AND 360
the japanese version comes out this winter on 360 and PS3 together on the SAME DATE so we can say the version will be the same :(
AND PES2008 is also coming out on october on 360 and ps3 earlier than jap
so now i doubt of any difference between both systems
Im sad right now :(

the calendar will be first winning PS2 on 2 august after in october the DS version and european version of PES 360 and ps3 and in winter 360 ps3 jap versions winning eleven

I guess PS3 sales will rocket up in the 4th quarter. With potential hits like Assassin´s Creed, GTA, Killzone 2, PES2008, Call of Duty 4, Jericho or Haze to arrive still this year I guess there are many people (like myself) who are just waiting for these games to be released. And also Sony officially stated that they are seriously thinking about a price reduction. I think come x-mas, the PS3 will be top again.

I doubt of that because EVERY SINGLE game coming out this winter on ps3 will ALSO comes out on 360 ( i have a ps3 by the way and no 360 ) 360 is in front in US and in europe and did you see the ps3 hardware sales in japan thats absolutely ridiculous
3 months the ps3 is under 10 000 systems sold 360 is at 6000 and wii at 40000- 50000

Yes, I know they are really far behind, but like me I guess there are many Sony customers out there. Although I also know that quite a few were fed up with Sony´s approach to the next-gen in terms of release dates and so on. It´s not in our hands anyway, so let´s wait and see. I safed some money for my PS3, PES2008 and a proper TV, so on the day PES2008 comes out I´m on a shopping tour.

Why is that? :)
First of all, beeing released at the same time doesn't mean the both are the same.
Apart from that, even if they are the same, it can be a great game with great graphics as well. Both machines are next-gen. The screenshots we did see are not representative for the quality we are promised.

i didnt mean the game will not be good ^^
But i sold my 360 for a ps3 and now sony cant get an exclusive i mean thats terible knowing the fact its exclusives games that made sony sales growing that fast but ps3 is out almost a year and look the games we have no exclusive and loss of some big ones ( devil 4 gta4 haze will mostly follow the same path, assasin creed already done ) i mean when ps2 was out there was no games but 1 year after u could without a blink of an eye buy it because lots of games were coming but with the ps3 the future is completely unsure. for that sony really sucks !!! thats all even if i dying to play pes and im certain graphics will be awesome and gameplay too but if ps3 can get something well would be great

What's official? just coz they will be released together, so it's already *official* they will be the same, even though everything till now says they won't?

EA always releases its games on diff platforms together, are they the same? Is Fifa PC the same as Fifa X360?

What happened is that Konami is trying to take a good step forward by releasing all version of its game simultaneously. This is all good for everyone.

I'm not starting a console war... but PS3 version -if different- will be better simply because of the Sony-2-million deal, the news about other gamers seeing a different version which was "visually much better", and the hints given by journalists that we shouldn't be disappointed by the screens because Konami but a lot of effort into the PS3 version.

Read between the lines, but don't write between them! :)

We will just have to wait and see what happens wont we? I still doubt the PS3 will get special treatment to be honest.

Sony did not pay 2 millions to konami thats BS really
was a pure rumor not confirmed !!!! so untrue ^^
Ps3 is the lead sku thats i believe it but nothing else
you do believe everything !!!!!
the game will be exactly the same
do you all believe konami have the time to releave 2 different versions in ONE YEAR !!!!
i mean no way ^^
even if i want do open your eyes thats impossible !

if so, i guess the Japanese version will have some advantages of possible fixes or special enhancement since it is being released later.

nothing about the same version or special version for PS3 so please don't confirm, just translate the right news.

Xbox 1 has been abandoned by Konami. PES6 didnt come out on it either.

shit. all this talk of release date, i just realized. there aren't any methods for playing imports on the PS3.

i guess i better get a 360 just in case.
