beautiful gameplay mod, too bad that today 11/02 they released another update and so we have to wait for your next update... we can't wait :)
obviously I speak for those who use FIFA mod manager
Are you using steam? If you don't need the latest update, just switch steam to "offline mode", restart steam and you're good to go to play withouth updating the game.

oh damm, I accidentally made an update of the game, is there an ability to make a backup? or do I need to wait mod update for 9.1?
 
Hi guys.

All my gameplay mods were updated. You just need to keep an eagle eye on the Gameplay folder (first post) to see if I have updated but not yet written to all the places I post to.

Version 6 and 6.1 were released on 8th February and 15 February respectively.

Version 6
Updates from V Gameplay Mod V5:
AI
- General AI tweaks to suit Title Update 8+
Shooting
- Shooting physics changes so that you can strike the ball harder and lower into the goal
Rules and Fouls
- Many small touches are no longer called as fouls
Player Roles
- After discovering the "instructions" that we can give to each role, many roles have been reworked

Updates from V Gameplay Mod V6:
- Tackling has been reworked
- AI are much more aggressive in tackling, this came about from the tackling rework which the AI seem to like a lot!
- Fitness tweak, i ensure that fatigue is more noticeable throughout the match
- Positional instructions, fixed "Wide-Midfielders"

Remember. Even if FIFA Mod Manager says the mod is "out of date", the mod should still apply. Only when EA do massive changes to gameplay (like TU8) should a gameplay mod fail to apply.

Hi folks. I have another update to V Gameplay Mod for FC 25.

This release is Version 6.2 for FC 25 Title Update 9.1

Updates from V Gameplay Mod V6.1:
  • Fixed a crash that would occur when playing against teams using the CDM Holding Midfielder role
  • Fixed an issue where players crossing would use their wrong foot
  • Fixed an issue with crossing trajectory

I'm enjoying the mod, but I wanted to add vanilla referees to the game. The referees in the mod are flagging every bump and it's getting boring to play. Can you make the vanilla referee mod available?

Paul- Great work once again! I just starting using your FC25 mod last week- as I was hooked on your FIFA 23 mod before. Once again, the gameplay and realism is great. However, one thing that is noticeably different from your FIFA 23 mod is there is not nearly as much differentiation between players of differing attributes. I've tested it playing 9 CPU vs CPU matches (kick-off mode) and the lower rated teams have won 3 and tied one. Further, there is very little difference in stats on possession and duels won. For instance, in one of my CPU vs CPU matches, an Indian league team had 53% possession against Barcelona. Have you had the same findings in your tests? Best, D
 
luckily your gameplay mod exists...one thing in the previous ones was that you could tug on the shirt...in this new one it doesn't let me do it anymore

I completely agree. My mod has definitely taken a turn toward over balancing rather than keeping the difference between attributes. Version 7 will focus on this for sure and I will keep Version 6 up to date as nice backup for those that like it that way.

I'm trying to switch to FC 25 since Konami seems to have definitively abandoned offline players. I had already tried a few months ago but I couldn't find a mod that was "slow" and simulative enough.

I must say that your gameplay (I tried version 6.2) has totally transformed the AI which now builds reasoned and varied actions. Even the referee calls are present and credible during the match. The crosses are beautiful, I managed to score beautiful goals with head shoot or by going over the opposing defense with long throws. I just reduced the running speed and the passing speed with the sliders (but it's my subjective preference).

However, I also confirm that the game crashes very often in a totally random way in the middle of matches.

Tomorrow I will try version 7.0 hoping it will be more stable, in the meantime I thank you because I never thought I would be able to find FC even minimally fun after years of Pes 2021, and it is only thanks to you!
 
I tried version 7.0 earlier, and it's incredible how it feels. Ball control feels real, and the AI makes realistic decisions most of the time. The only thing that bothers me is the ball speed, especially in long passes and sometimes when taking long shots or headers (though the aiming is perfect!). Is there a way for me to change it? In the game sliders, the only option available is to adjust short pass speed. Thanks in advance!

I just curious, crossing and goal with heading is a common thing and we always see it in real life football matches. But I wondering, why in FIFA or now EAFC, the AI never (or maybe you can count just 1 or 2 in a match) the AI act like that? Can you make the gameplay like that? In PES the AI doing that act such as generally in real life football match

AI in FIFA/FC are too tied to physics, attributes and then "tactics" to override it in a sensible way so it crosses all of the time. Has been this way for a long time. In previous versions of FC/FIFA I would usually use a force of an AI objective to ensure they would create crossing / wing play more often. Although then you are removing variety in their play.

I too find this dumb. In previous FIFA it was even worse and players wouldnt even shoot unless it was the striker. Dumb!

Getting the balance of AI variety and actually having realistic physics and attributes is almost impossible in FIFA/FC. I know a lot of people claim otherwise but I genuinely found no way of achieving the perfect gameplay with decent AI for a long time. The closest was FIFA 20.

I just managed to try the 7 test version by playing two 30-minute games. Compared to 6.2 I noticed a lot of errors in the CPU's passes, even at the Legend difficulty level. The previous version seemed more challenging and fun, in this new version I have the feeling that the CPU often gives you the ball. And then the referee seemed a little less present, one thing I really liked about 6.2 was that there were a lot of fouls even just by pressing. There have been no crashes yet, I'll play other games tonight and the test will then be reliable. Thanks for your work
