Thoughts on best FIFA just on the field?

After many years with pes ( since 2019 after Fifa 17 i play only pes 20 and FL24) i start playing FIFA 16. Game is good , gives me a lot of fun and have good career mode. But the game have 8 years old and some mechanics are outdated. Some of animation and players movements are "wooden" and have weird crosses and headers.Which FIFA ( i thinking about 17-19 because 20-24 have 1x1 and this killing one of the best thing in game like player positioning and compactnes play and battle in the middle) is most simillar to fifa 16 about gameplay and have better and natural animations , crosses and more freedom shots trajectory?? I watch some gameplay on YT and i think FIFA 19 looks pretty good in these aspects. Is it worth it? I would like to play with sliders or gameplay mod

Fifas on frostbite have Better animation than 16,but worst physics and a.i in my opinion

I actually play Fifa 16 and Fifa 19 . In 19 are better animations , goalnets physics, ball physics and gameplay its very smoothly but its very easy . Its my first time with Fifa 19 , play on Ultimate on league two with OS sliders and after 10 matches im on 1st place and have only 2 goals conceded. Ai dont play offensive , they dont creates many chances and shots. And i feel gameplay looks like a counter attack. I can easily play trough ball on the wing and run by the wingers and its easy to tackle and receive the ball in the middle. Often i take 2x more shots than cpu. In Fifa 16 i play on Legendary and use supernova final gameplay and almost every match its hard battle in the middle and hard to creating chances. Matches are balanced and challenging and gives more fun and satifaction. Maybe there is a way to make gameplay in Fifa 19 more difficult and more simillar to fifa 16?? I decrease cpu sliders with errors of pass and shots , incerase cpu marking but still games are easier than in fifa 16. Maybe someone have a good setting for fifa 19 that game to get more balanced and challenging matches?

after years of testing different mods (pes 21 & fifa) I have just tested ea fc 24 and I am really disappointed...despite the big modding work done on the gameplay level, the famous 1vs1 really spoils the experience.. I remain convinced that for offline, FIFA 16 remains THE best experience (I play the latest version with the supernova gameplay mod) the combat offered by the AI whether in defense or attack is ultra satisfying.. moreover the incredible number of stadiums available increases the immersion a little more... for me FIFA 16 is at the top of the list.

Having played a fair amount of FIFAs 14-19 over the last year, my top 5 would be:
1. FIFA 15 (PC with an AIO Moddingway patch)
2. FIFA 17 (PC with the ball size corrected)
3. FIFA 16 (PC with an AIO Moddingway patch)
4. FIFA 14 World Cup Brazil
5. FIFA 18

Do you have a link to the ball size mod?

Fifa 16 PS3 is my new Gem, and of course FIFA 14 PS4.
I never ever liked the PS4 version of FIFA 15 and 16 and got hope when Fifa 17 was out but they fucked up Frosbite the year after, and you all should test if you got the possibility to do it because everything you do seems FAR more natural with Impact Engine than Ignite, and you don't have that "floaty" and overclocked animations type.

It's a better game than FIFA 14 PS3-PC, there's more outcomes and dynamism. Now it really, really ressemble to FIFA 14 PS4 but less rigid.

There are Moddingway patches again??

I think FIFA 15 has the most human‑feeling and most fun and best gameplay. A good mix of arcade and simulation.
The AI behavior is fun as well. It moves with you in midfield, presses, attacks, drops back, and—as an underdog—runs down the clock when a draw is enough.

FIFA 16 has the best simulation‑style gameplay, but it loses the human feel and comes across as more sterile. It feels a bit more like work.

FIFA 17, FIFA 18, and FIFA 19 are not bad, but after spending an additional 180 hours with FIFA 15 on PC in 1-2 Month, I somehow can’t really feel those more cartoon‑looking games anymore.

Fun factor is often tied to how the difficulty behaves. If it’s way too hard, tedious, and you can feel the momentum in a bad way, it can ruin the fun.

After all these years of playing FIFA/EAFC/PES and reading posts here and other places, nobody has convinced me that there is another football game in existence that plays better than 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. Not saying you have to convince me, I like all the opinions :).

Agree too with you, that FIFA 16 on PS3 platform cool.
That's why I am have in my collection both FIFA 16 for consoles: FIFA 16 PS3 and FIFA 16 PS4.
What do the PS3 and PS4 versions of fifa 16 have compared to versione PC?

I am think you are better check it by myself.
It's how explain on words "what's difference between some different cars, while you are driving them in different conditions".

I am only can say, that like all this versions of FIFA 16, do not matter how are they was changed because of limitaions of whole release platform.

P.S. May be some other user of evoweb can share with you his "impressions, covered in soccer terms."

1. FIFA 10 and World Cup 2010 (PS3, Xbox 360)
2. FIFA 11
3. FIFA 12
4. FIFA 13
5. FIFA 17

I think FIFA 16 is good too, but on PC the camera shake and the tiny size of the player cursor bother me.

1. FIFA 13
2. FIFA 19
3. FIFA 11
4. FIFA 15
5. FIFA 07 (also UCL 06-07) - last one for heavy nostlagia :))
