Realism X Real Football is the 2026 addon & continuation of the Realism Gameplay X mod !This addon mod completely reworks many core gameplay elements to make matches feel more natural, unpredictable, and authentic. The goal is simple: to bring FIFA 22 closer to the feeling of a real football match.
- Reworked CPU AI >
The CPU AI has been heavily improved and is now much more aware of what is happening on the pitch. Teams react better to situations, make smarter decisions, and no longer play in a robotic or predictable way.- Smarter Attacking Play >
The AI no longer rushes forward blindly. Teams now build their attacks with more patience, using passes, movement, positioning, and better decision-making to create chances.- Stronger Defensive Awareness >
A huge amount of work has been done on defensive behaviour. Defenders are now much more aware of danger around them, react better to attacking threats, and position themselves more intelligently. Breaking down a defense is now a real challenge. No more sleepy defenders. No more zombie defending.- More Realistic Ball Control >
The “glued ball” feeling is gone. The ball now feels more independent on the pitch. Quick turns, badly timed sprints, poor touches, or forced dribbles can make your player lose control of the ball. Every second matters, and every movement has consequences.- Improved Passing and Shooting >
Timing and angle are now much more important when passing or shooting. Badly timed actions can result in poor passes, missed shots, or wasted opportunities — just like in real football. You need to choose the right moment and execute properly.- More Authentic Player Control >
Players now feel more connected to their real physical attributes and stats. Strong physical players can dominate in tackles and body duels, while faster players can use their speed to escape pressure. Player strengths and weaknesses now matter much more during gameplay.Reworked Goalkeepers >
Goalkeepers have been rebalanced to create a bigger difference between low-rated and top-class keepers. Lower-rated goalkeepers can make mistakes, spill the ball, or struggle under pressure, while elite goalkeepers are capable of outstanding saves and match-winning moments.Many More Gameplay Changes >
Many other important areas have been adjusted to improve realism and immersion, including: Attributes, player stats, stamina, CPU decision-making, vision, reactions, positioning, ball physics, and overall match rhythm. The result is a more immersive, authentic, and challenging FIFA 22 experience designed for players who want football to feel closer to the real game.
IMPORTANT : These settings must be applied for the normal functioning of the mod!
1. The mods list inside FIFA MOD MANAGER : #1 Realism X Real Football Addon, #2 Realism X Gameplay. Check the screenshot inside ZIP archive.
2. DO NOT FORGET THE SLIDERS as the mod was re-worked based on them! Try my set of sliders first : play 2 - 3 matches. You can adjust them as you wish but do not expect the same outcome. Check below or the txt file inside the ZIP archive.
Sliders : Both Human & CPU > all 50 except :
- Shoot speed = 41,
- Pass speed = 44,
- Positioning : Line Height = 61,
- Positioning : Line Length = 45.
