I’ve been watching it for a while. I’m up to the Kutcher era. I think it’s just as funny as when Charlie Sheen did it purely because it still has the guy that plays Alan Harper. That guy is fu***** hilarious 😂 🤣

I’ve heard of Married with children but I’ve never watched it

I agree, i watched all 8 episodes of season 1, yesterday. Absolutely loved it. As Em has said, it is very faithful to the game. In fact, if i had more time, i would go back and play them all again. I love the fact that fine details were there, like sugar bombs and pickled deviled eggs. :D
 
Finished watching WWE Next Gen. Was pretty good if you’re into seeing what it takes to be a WWE Wrestler

Yes I think so. I feel it will be a long haul series that builds over time.

I’ve started watching 3 body problem. I’m onto the 4th episode. It’s really good so far.
 
Been watching Star Trek Discovery Season five.
What a visual spectacle! Great storyline too.
 
Making more seasons of Shogun is BS, they already finished the story. It is an obvious money-grab and I doubt I will even watch it.

I thought this.
They are just making it as the show is now popular and cash in, the book finished.

It would of been better if they just carried on making the rest of the books with Season 2 being the next book written.
 
Last of Us Part Two Premieres on April 13th.

TBH not very excited about it and will probably watch it after Season 3 when they have finished the whole 2nd game.
After re-watching some of the 1st season, I can't get over how badly cast Bella Ramsey was.

Was lovely oking few to see it again but was a no go
 
Going through a few series...
Paradise on Disney+
is ok, it just manages to keep me interested. Think I would prefer it as a miniseries though, not sure I'm excited for multiple seasons.
Zero Day on netflix
Again, ok, a lot of big name actors and some neat ideas. Jessi Plemons seems to have been living on a moving treadmill since I last saw him. This is a miniseries so it can be brought to a hopefully satisfying finale.
The Bear on Disney+
Took me a bit to get in it but it is essential TV now. Stumbles a bit at the start of the second season where it becomes almost pure comedy, where it was a blend of drama and comedy before that. But it gets back on track and then some. Extremely multi layered characters. Still have season 3 to go.
 
Watched A thousand blows on Disney plus, or the first 4 ep, meh!
Stephen Graham always great of course, but a carbon copy (and watered down) Peaky Blinders, who I thought were pretty meh too.

Saw the first season of "Alma's not normal"
Quirky and quite fun, and The cleaner, pretty funny, not a top series but good enough.
All on Britbox.

Miss really weird series that stands out, most series nowadays misses warmth as an ingredient.
Like Derek/The Detecorists etc

I have sort of hit a wall with season four, it as just become what I can only describe as dull. It has the Marvel problem of feeling the need to introduce a "potential universe ender" because of course the stakes always have to be dialed up to 11. Despite this, Most of the show is just people talking about their feelings. Michael Burnham has lost the ability to speak in anything other than soothing whispers. Characters which aren't crippled with an overload of trauma and PTSD usually don't do anything but give advice to those that are. I'm beginning to think Jett Reno has been killed off without me remembering it although I wouldn't terribly mind as Tig Notaro is not even that good an actress (stop hiring stand-up comedians for acting gigs, please).
Well, this is all a big long whine and I'll probably get over it and finish the series at some point but new Trek has generally been a failure. Apart from Lower Decks and Picard S3, nothing has been above low mediocrity. Strange New Worlds is the only thing yet sort of keeping its head above water and that Section 31 movie was absolutely panned. If Star Trek wants any real future going forward Alex Kurtzman has to leave.

I don't even remember posting this. This must have been like a 2 years ago or something 😄

I enjoyed Star Trek Discovery and Strange New Worlds is good too. The latter has a bit of OG Star Trek about it with the captain very similar to Shatner. Although I love captain Picard, it's that I love him in Next Generation. Picard the series was a bit meh to me.
So I guess we are on opposite ends of opinion when it comes to Star Trek.
 
Severance season 1 was one of the best shows I've watched in the last 4-5 years, looking forward to starting season 2 soon.

I quite liked Episode 7 of it, but the finale was a little meh. The ending isn't really enough of a hook for me if I'm honest.

Just started Season 2 now as by the time me and Mrs get to the end we should be inline to watch the final episode the day it goes live.
It probably the 2nd best TV show I watched in the past few years (Shogun easily wins) and I hope they finish it properly instead of doing what American TV always does which is drag it out as much as possible until people stop watching and it abruptly ends.

I really need to give Shogun a try, heard so many good things about it.

It is easily the best TV show in the last 5/6 years for me.
It is pretty slow and the English guy is annoying first few episodes.

But it is so well made and acting is top notch.
It is basically as good as the first few seasons of Game of Thrones before it turned into an absolute shit storm.
 
For lack of any new series I'm going retro at the moment, watching NYPD Blue, good then and still good today
