The Retro-PES Corner

PES 6 20th ANNIVERSARY TOURNAMENT

This tournament organized by Dooky in Paris FR was among best experience we had since I joined the retro community. What a pleasure to had witnessed the revival of PES6 20 years after with many ex champions of PES6 France

And the adrenaline and sportiveness to achieve group and knockout phases were priceless.

A very good event!

PS i am the one the video thumbnail who won the first match

Letting two players choosing the same team is something we never allowed in our tournaments at University.

If several players claimed the same team, then there was a draw to see who'd get it and others then had to pick another.

It was done by "rounds". So sometimes, the good strategy would be to directly pick in round 1 a sub-top team that no-one would claim in the first round.

Each player had to keep his team during the league (it was league format, not cup).

Good and fun times !

It's great to see that such live events still exist.

I'm currently working on a PES 2014 PSP / PS2 OF and kits editing is more limited than in 5/6/2008.

The only advantage of 2014 is that you can select and combine 4 big parts. Where in 5/6/2008, you have to select 1 small (for the collar), 1 medium and 2 large.

But in 2014, the number of part designs is more limited.

For the shorts also, there is no design which mimics the adidas 3 stripes. Same for the socks.

Last but not least, on the shorts, if you set the logo on the same side of the number, one will be exactly over the other. Meaning the logo and number need to be on different side of the short.

The available fonts for the numbers and names do not help too.

Still doing my best to produce the nicest OF I can. It'll not be bad but not as nice as what can be achieved in 5/6/2008 imho. Let's see.

Understand the point, at the event the same guy should have the same team all along, group and knockout phase. This is way most picked teams were Inter ManU FCB Chelsea Real Madrid

And besides, the winner picked FCB so at the end Inter is not a guarantee to win

A patch tribute wendetta. The kits of the national teams correspond to before the Euro 2004 except France, Germany and Japan, who had been playing with new adidas kits since the end of 2003. The launch date of the game in February of that years and 2003-04 teams, world patch port from pc to ps2, a tribute patch wendetta database

Optional and necessary: option file I correct some all faces and wrong names

The game comes in your favorite language but you must change the language to the Japanese audio so that all the content of the patch is seen the same as the original Wendetta game
