Just to some stuffs on the edit mode and the Citra 3ds emulator, i tried Winning Eleven 2014 and PES 2013.
For 2014 it's the only "Ps2-like" i found with summer transfers done (Gnabry at Arsenal etc.) i suppose it should be the same case for the 3 others versions as they were released after the first DLC on PS3 so...
I through it would be exactly the same as PS2 and PSP last versions, but no : not only that the feeling is different, but you can move in 360 degrees with the analog stick....
I was

Then i noticed that some animations are different, shooting feels also different, it's like another discovery in old-school PES/WE.
As the game is normally created for playing in third-person view (you can change it to a long-normal cam), i get the more or less 32 or 64 directions possible. I remember that PES 2011 Ps3 was presented as 16 directions, i did not checked if 2012 and 2013 got 32 or more.
Here's a video showing all versions (except the 2014 aoki) but you can try it by yourselves with Citra 3ds emulator.
The should have followed the same path for Ps2 and PsP "after next-gen" so for PES 2011-2014 versions... I don't think those console where not powerful enough to support the same gameplay as there's in 3ds... It's not like the Nintendo portable console was that more powerful.
Now i didn't looked about balance etc., i didn't played it more than an 10 minutes match, but i really wanted to share it here.
