Terminator 2
The Godfather
The Prestige
Man On Fire
The Dark Knight
Alpha Dog
Tears Of The Sun
The Matrix
Black Hawk Down

Actors:

Keifer Sutherland
Denzel Washington
Jeremy Piven

Al Pacino (apart from the last few films he's made)

Alpha Dog? The one with Timberlake in? It was a pretty good film but I wouldn't say anything special in my opinion.

I can't believe I've never gotten around to watching Black Hawk Down yet

I see you snuck in "So I Married An Axe Murderer" into that list Nick

HEED!!

I have to, It's one of my most watched movies, I'm amazed The Good, the Bad and the Ugly did not sneak in too, I must watch both of those once a month, sad I know... :P

"Heel be crying himself ta sleep on his huuuge pillar..."

My other half shocked me a few years back, after the umpteenth time of watching it she said "that guy who plays his dad is really funny, what else has he been in..."

She must have seen it over 50 times...

:LMAO:

 Oh dear!

I watched it last week at a mates as it was on Sky Movies as he was flicking thru, still bloody funny

It's more for Ben Foster & Emile Hirsch's performances, though the eye candy of Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard & Dominique Swain help! If ever they need someone to play a psycho role in the next Batman film, Foster should be worth a look.

If you liked Saving Private Ryan you'll love Black Hawk Down. Windtalkers is also worth a look...

Alpha dog is really good imo. JT did a decent enough job at it too

Indeed. Amélie is one of my favorite movies too, it's quite beautiful.

I watched Lilja 4-ever last night. It's a swedish film from 2002 based on a true story that examines the issue of trafficking in human beings and sexual slavery. Brutal and realistic.

I felt physically sick when it ended. Reminded me of Requiem for a Dream. These two definitely make my top 10 list, fantastic films.

1408 - 7/10

John Cusack goes into haunted hotel room and loses the plot. Quite entertaining with a few jumpy moments

Lakeview Terrace - 7/10

Samuel L Jackson plays a good lead in this. He's a proper sneaky evil bastard and he does it well

Which ending for 1408 did you get CW?

Blindness

8/10.... some horrible scenes like jonney said... but very good movie imo.

You mean there are alternate endings for the film?!

In the one I saw he first thought he was out then when he realised he wasn't he set fire to the room. It ends with him sat at his desk playing his daughters voice on the dictaphone

I liked 1408 too...
Grosse Point Blank would go in my top 10...

Grosse Point Blank is a quality film. The fight scene in that is brutal and very well done. Cusack is a top fella
