Burn After Reading - 4/10

Brad Pitt the only reason this gets a 4, he injects a fair bit of the comedy into the film. Not worth seeing!

Eagle Eye - 7/10

A good action flick if a little silly. Plenty going on from start to finish to keep you watching
 
Quantum of Solace
- Short
- Intense (1st part is awesome)
- A bad-ass Bond like never before
- The story is weak but very realistic, it's believable
- Bad guys are good but far from cult
- Action, action, action, and action again. It never stops. Jack Bauer style.
- Olga Kurylenko is so beautiiiiiiiiiful (:LOVE:). Gemma Arterton is lovely too.
- When is the next one ?

Quantam of Solace - 9/10

Its not better than Casino Royale but its every bit as good.

I wish my local cinema had HD screens!

Action all the way! It really does feel like the second half of Casino Royale, which it was intended to be. So not really a classic Bond film, as it's not standalone, but part of a set it's great :)).

I thought it was boring tbh, Just didnt grab me
 
saw this a few hours ago. again whata load of rubbish. action with no substance. i knew this would suck. i wont blame daniel craig. his a n excellent bond but the writers, the plot and just about everything else sucked real hard .

6/10 for me. wasted my time and money on this. if i wanted to watch 24, i would wait till november for the 24 movie. this was a total let down.

someone here said it had a more realistic storyline. yes it did but it sucked real hard imo. the Action was great thougha nd the only reason why it got a 6
to sum it all up, a movie filled with action and no story and substance

No, he's an decent John McClane or Jason Bourne, but he's not James Bond.

Not by a long shot.

Thats the problem with both Casino Royale and I'd assume QoS (from everything I've read), they're action films, a Bourne film or a Die Hard with a bit of British veneer on them and definitely not Bond films.

The only thing is, the acting in Die Hard or the Bourne films is actually decent, and neither are full of product placement.
 
Apart from the Sony Walkman at the beginning of Casino Royale and the BD disk at the hotel they hasn't been any product placement that has been out of place. I see nothing wrong with James Bond using a Sony Ericcson mobile phone for example.
 
from what I've seen from Casino Royale. Daniel Craig is probably one of the best ever Bonds.
In order of preference:
Sean Connery
Daniel Craig
Pierce Brosnam (poor bastard was a victim of bad writing and bad directing)

Could change mu opinion after I see QoS
 
the movie was pants and danial craig is a good bond but not better then the likes of roger more(my fav) and sean connery.

this new bond doesnt have any "soul" in him. no charm, no life in him.

I think the newer generation had enough of an 'invincible' and 'charming' 007 agent.All the older Bond movies were full of gadgetries till it came to a point where Bond has become Inspector Gadget.From what I understand,Casino Royal stripped Bond down to his basics and the whole francise would be 'reborn' too.Daniel Craig is an awesome Bond...very hardcore and rugged,shows his human weakness too.I will watch QoS this weekend,highly anticipating it to pick up where Casino Royale left off.

Too many plot holes and overcomplicated for no reason. I think Greane and Camille were very good though.
How pointless was Fields?

Starts with a car chase and doesn't really let up from the first minute. Craig is definately up there with Connery as the best Bond ever
 
My girlfriend thought it was brilliant and she hates lads films, loves romcoms and all that crap.
