Here's a good movie for you, watched it the other day.

The Mist (2007) - Stephen King wrote the story and the film is directed by the same guy who did The Shawshank Redemption. Brilliant ending aswell :)

Yeah great film.

The 1st bit of CGI had me worried but it improved a hell of a lot after that.

War of the Worlds 2 is available now.

I've got Crash to watch on my Sky+.. I'm excited now!!!

I watched Magicians on Sunday, with Mitchell & Webb from Peep Show. I thought it was brilliant, really funny and easy to watch!

I watched Garden State last night. It's brilliant, the greatest film I've watched in quite a while.

Edit: Just watched Lost In Translation, it's fantastic. I don't know why the hell I didn't watch them eariler, I've had them for ages.

I watched Before the Devil Knows You're Dead last night

worth a watch, its good to see how the story pieces together from everyone's angle

When was the alien invasion again? At least I remember that the date meant that?!

I remember seeing the date on the X-Files final episode.

Long time since I watched X-Files.
VERY long time.

Oh the X Files is great, I've started watching it again up to season 4. Probably one of the best TV shows of all time I'd say. Others have tried and failed... cough cough supernatural, invasion, cough cough

The date of the invasion if I remember rightly is...

December 22nd, 2012 - right after the world is left vacant on the 21st

Don't follow.

Both great films, especially Garden State.

You should check out The Last Kiss if your a fan of Mr Braff! Great film. It has the best and most powerful argument scene I've ever seen on the screen.

I was thinking about watching it right after this New Amsterdam episode I'm watching now! :w00t:

Edit: You're absolutely right. This movie is brilliant, it feels like the whole story could happen to anyone. Some of the scenes were really emotive and powerful. It's been a while since a movie made me actually feel something, if you know what I mean. I love it.

Zach Braff's got to be my favorite actor. He's fantastic.

I'm ll be watching S3 all day. Some episodes are very weak, some are very very brillant. It's very difficult to get into the show. Without the mythology (and the FBI duo) I would have stopped a long time ago.
I already watch the show but not in the right order :/...

Spike Lee announces 'Inside Man' sequel

Spike Lee has revealed that he is working on a sequel to hit 2006 movie Inside Man.

The film, which starred Denzel Washington, Clive Owen and Jodie Foster, centred on a tough cop who becomes involved in a hostage situation when he tries to thwart a bank robber's plans.

He told Hollyscoop that original writer Russell Gewirtz is currently finishing the script and Clive Owen is already attached to star.

The film is tentatively scheduled for a release in 2010.

Lee announced his new project at the sixth annual Behind The Lens Awards in Beverly Hills, where he was honoured for his achievement in cinema.

John Singleton, Rosie Perez, Damon Wayans and Patti Austin were among the stars who turned out to watch him collect the award on Wednesday night.

Lee, a director, producer, writer and actor, has been nominated for two Oscars and is credited with kick-starting the careers of actors such as Halle Barry, Denzel Washington, Samuel L Jackson and Wesley Snipes.

His most famous movies include Do The Right Thing, Jungle Fever and Malcolm X.

He said: "I think that most importantly this award is just not for one particular film. It's for the body of work we've done from 1986's She's Gotta Have It to 2008 - my new film is coming out in October, called Miracle At St Ana - so it's for the body of work."

I'm all for it.

Adds The Last Kiss to hit list.

Don't want to ruin it for others so will stick it in a spoiler again

Well didn't Chris Carter mark the end of the world on 21st Dec 2012. From what I can remember a great catastrophe occurs on that date, that wipes out more than 90% of the human population. Chris's date is a reference to the end of the Mayan calender - an end of the world prophecy foretold by these people called the Mayans thousands of years ago. Therefore, aliens don't need to invade us they just move into our world when it is left vacant and uninhabited.

@tuta77 - Season 3 is pretty good, but Season 4 is the nuts! IMO seasons 1-3 have a lot of random episodes thrown in, which is good as it mixes it up a bit, but doesn't help the general message of the truth. However, if you carry on watching each episode in order you'll see how Carter reveals little snip bits of 'The Truth'. All the season tend to flow, however season 4 onwards is where Carter begins to tie thingsup. In last few seasons you can sense the shift in focus moving from the paranormal/supernatural to a more government/alien conspiracy based show. But seriously right up until the last episode you will be hooked.

mjsmith2k, thx for clearing that up.
I'm kinda like tuta. I watched alot of random episodes.

I've been thinking about getting the Entire show for years now, but there is always something that prevents me.

Tobi, love that movie. It was brilliant!
How couldn't I? Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster and Spike Lee all in the same movie, it's doomed to be brilliant! :)

And Denzel sidekick on the film shows himself as a great actor. Don't remember his name though! :P

EDIT:

I'm gonna hang around here more often.
Recomendations for good movies are abundant! :)
