I've been a bit more patient in defending ,instead of putting pressure on the striker who has its back turned,I've stood there,trying to follow him,and usually your defender sticks his leg out when they shoot

Yeh i think i need to be patient too. Thing is i am also a bit ‘scared’ to get too close to the striker in case i give away a penalty.

Really enjoying the game at the moment and the individuality is there. Fulham have a player called Caverleiro on loan from Wolves and twice in one game he went down with another player and both times he managed to wrestle his way back up and get to the loose ball first. Don’t recall seeing that before, normally the CPU gets those 50/50’s but this was like Rocky and Apollo when they are both trying to beat the count.

I checked his stats but cannot see one that stands out apart from Speed.

Silly question, how to shield a high ball coming down to you? On PS4.

Yep so rewarding on FUMA. I cannot change to anything else because for me FUMA and Top Player is the ideal difficulty.

I think the scriptin/cheatingAI/handicap is very subjective. Every person sees it differently. What i saw until now, AI is less cynical than 2019, but still cynical, they play better football, but somehow for example, they tend to bring some games to their size no matter the teams rating. Furthermore what i see until now, they tend a lot to score low corner shots, like in 2019 they were scoring 90% high corner shots.

I still maintain opinion that its decent in that regard actually. My scriptures are relatively generous, there's an odd shit game or two a season but that's it. The only thing pissing me off is kick-off goals, had this very weird Coppa Italia clash against Bologna yesterday. Their attacking mentality was set to max right away since they lost 1-2 in the first game and I just banged golazzo past them. And they came back in this anime kick-off determination excitation fashion three times lol. Game ended with 3-6 win for me, away.

In the next round I met Juve themselves. Fino alla fine yeah how about you suck my big bulging panettone I exclaimed as I've somehow scored a header in 89th minute. Then they came to San Siro three days later and what a revolting game it was. I messed up so many situations, some of them were very weird (hmmmm dont mess with my manuel shooting konami!) but in many cases I was simply fucking around it was 1AM and stuff Son Heung-Min (they bought him early on) did the same baboozle Cardona did to them in Turin.

Extra Time was dumb, because I was dumb. Should've won, on the other hand my GK Vicario is a f00kin legend, if there's one man I cannot complain about it's my dear goalie. Brought from Venezia at the start of ML, I thought he'll be only a temporary goaltender, lo and behold he's there to stay forever. So many big saves from that man, I was shaking when Pjanić bombed a FK past the wall and McVIcar just stretched like a rubber band and punched it out.

We got into PKs. What do Pjanić, Ronaldo and Dybala have in common? Vicario stopped all three of them, and we thru bois.

He's like Dida, but white. And actually good.

I love my Italians. Vicario, Bettella, Moncini and - especially - new Il Capitano, Francesco Cassata - are the faces of The New Milan. There's tons of Lusitanians too - people from Brazil and Portugal. Renato Sanches and Luiz Araujo are able to break through enemy lines with ease thanks to pacey pace and dribbley dribbles. Leo Duarte, big as a fucking superstore is knocking people out in the backline, partnered with Betty. This winter I signed Leo Ceara from Vitoria(?), he's bit older (28) but was relatively cheap and I needed another attacker.

On the other hand, The San Marino Faction is dead and bodied. Cevoli and Berardi were gotten rid of after King of San Marino dismissed me from being NT coach. Berardi's value, despite being 66OVR went up to a million euros, and Crotone, having paid us 900K, made him the most expensive player in San Marino's history.

They are dead to me. Brazil is my new friend.

This Italo-Lusitanian condominium can really fuck your shit up, bro. Having dropped to Top Player, we are third so far, chasing Inter, Juve is probably unreachable. I am dominating on TP, on the other hand this team is actually good at this point so I guess it's okay. People with their overalls in 75+ (and growing), and great Team Spirit are able to challenge anyone at this point.

I have this idea that stats work exponentially now; up until somewhere like 75 difference is minimal, and then the gap between each value extends and, say, difference between 81 and 82 is bigger than between 75-80. I don't know about you, I don't know new PES either, but it sure feels like this.

We still haven't won a derby game against Inter. Today, this spring, hopefully! We should reach 90TS by this point, having integrated all the new guys (had to bring 4 free agents because the situation looked horrible ) and yeah, probably challenge Europe and Juventus next year.

I will upload pictures later (I put them on USB in PS4 and then back onto PC) but for now, some personal recommendations from me:

GK. Vicario: https://www.pesmaster.com/g-vicario/pes-2020/player/116482/ - Old Lady Slayer, if you have troublesome grannies at home bring this man in.

CB. Bettella https://www.pesmaster.com/d-bettella/pes-2020/player/126009/ - he's at 74-75 atm IIRC, what I like most is his confidence, always standing strong on his legs, always there to challenge the invader.

CMF. IL CAPITANO FRANCESCO CASSATA https://www.pesmaster.com/f-cassata/pes-2020/player/112896/ - it's weird, I bought him from Frosinone and website says Genoa!!! He's 3-1 deal, plays as DMF, CMF and SS all at the same time. If you can't win with 11 players, get him and try playing with 13. Il Capitano forever in my heart, my favourite player in this game so far. He is literally everywhere, born on the football pitch. Scored crucial goals, stopped balls on the goal line, the one and only!

CF. Moncini https://www.pesmaster.com/g-moncini/pes-2020/player/62007/ went through a lot at this team. Serie B was easy, but we have had a terrible time adapting to Serie A. After multiple strategy changes and rearrangements, Moncini became a Target Man and entered Path of the Bear. With Luiz Araujo and Rusyn behind his back, he's at his best again, often getting them balls sent via airmail from the middle of the pitch.

Now for the non-Italians.

CMF. Renato Sanches https://www.pesmaster.com/renato-sanches/pes-2020/player/110578/ man needs no introduction, got him as free agent. Having moved to Italy, this Portuguese prodigy finally found a new home. A diesel engine that powers my counterattacks and even bangs some goals every now and then. Makes for a good story seriously, seeing him recover properly in a giant that rises again.

LWF Luiz Araujo https://www.pesmaster.com/luiz-araujo/pes-2020/player/113379/ how is he worth 7M euro - no idea. A bargain, maybe one of the best bargains this ML. I had to pay twice as much for slightly lower rated players. The only player I can actually somewhat dribble with. Had a rough start in Milan, but after we went 4-3-3 spearhead formation he bangs goals left and right. Good man!

CB. Leo Duarte https://www.pesmaster.com/leo-duarte/pes-2020/player/111455/ what the fuck he actually plays for Milan!!! I haven't had a clue In any case, he's back in Milan again. Godzilla of the backline, he swallows you up and spits the ravaged bones out. Brutal, compared to the elegant defending of his best bro Betty.



There are a few players that got away / I haven't had money / I will most likely get, I will try to make Pesmaster list later for you. In general tons of them are from Brazil, my Brazillian scout just gets the job done. Argentinian scout, in comparison, is a joker and will be sold into slavery soon.

One guy I want you keep and eye on is this https://www.pesmaster.com/yuri-alberto/pes-2020/player/119108/ he exploded in my ML and is worth 40M now, maybe he could be your new best friend?

First 3 matches with Lazio. 2W 1L.

Dominated this match, but Balotelli gave me a headache the last 10 min.

Their nº 11 is a beast. Couldn't score in this match because their goalkeeper was a wall. Maybe I was overconfident.

This was like a football match in the mud, but Correa and Immobile are very good in the air.

I feel like a need to center too much to create danger in the last part of the pitch. I need to get the best from Milinkovic-Savic and maybe play Luis Alberto as an AMF. I play a 4-4-2, it's solid, but maybe I'll tweak it a little bit.

EDIT: Seems like Inter is playing great under Conte. Maybe I will try them later in this year.

My Season with River Plade is comming nearly to the end.

I played manuell.
The Superliga Argentinia, is a little bit strange. Having 24 Teams in the league, but you will play only one match against every opponent.

So i missed to play in some nice stadiums there.
Until winter I conceeded only 1 Goal and was on second place, because I scored only 6 goals as well.

In winter transferwindow I lost Armani, my goalkeeper, because Seville payed the release clause.
I signed Adan from Atletico Madrid on loan for 6 months.

Also I recieved an offer from Porto for Pinola, my CB and Captain. I made a swap with Porto, so they got Pinola, while I got Pepe, the former Real Madrid player.



In the last days I was thinking about to sign Marchisio as a free agent, but decided to get a player from Uruguay, who was a free agent as well.

While searching for new players I found this bug. Antonio Candreva with a value of 500.000€

Until one match before the Derby against Boca Juniors I was unbeaten.
Then I lost in the Estadio Presidente Juan Domingo Perón by 1:0 and starting a negative strike, followed by loosing the derby 3:1.

In Copa Libertadores I got drawed with Independiente Medellín, Universidad de Chile and a fake team from PES.
I lost my first match, which came after the derby, against the fake Team with 2:0.

But luckly I won against 1:0 in Chile, won two times against Medllin by 1:0 and won 2:0 against Universidad in El Monumental.

So I am in the next round, while I have to play one more match against the fake team and leading in the group with 2 more points.

For the next Season I signed Iker Casillas from Manchester United for 2 years, while selling my, same old third goalkeeper Lux with 38 years to a rival.

So, January transfer window, not much cash to play with, but could do with a dead ball specialist. I find a guy called Paqardo, LB/LMF, 85 Place Kicking Stat, I thought he will do.

Tight game against Huddersfield, no goals first half, I get a free-kick from maybe 27 yards out in the second half. I decide to bring this new kid on for his debut and to take the free-kick as it was perfect for a left-footer. He comes on, first touch, only bends one around the wall and applied the dip to give the keeper no chance.

This is pure PES ML magic.....

Started another league with random teams, this time with Ajax, at top player.. controlling Tadic and Zyech is so satsfying. Must say I'm having a really good time overall, way better than superstar.. plenty of enjoyable and random matches. Still quite challenging (at least for me) but a bit more forgiving and natural. Not that I think superstar is truly this bad but in the past league with Monaco I could only score two goals in a ton of games.. afraid is much more than I can chew at the moment. If it will keep this balance I might soon try a proper ML.

Your Torino match sounds very much like real Lazio . Btw I think you can also use marusic and Lazzari as decent rbs.

Recently started a ML save with Cremonense in the Serie B. Results have been inconsistent at the start of the season. We play a 3-5-2 with fluid formation which basically means the wingers being used as defenders or attackers depending on the situation.

I did a bunch of free transfers after selling some unneeded players

2 centre backs (each above 1.95 meters long Barroilhet and Fisker)
1 big defensive mid (E.Smith)
2 pacey wingers (Obene and some other bloke)
2 strikers (Scaramacca and Stokkers)

Currently I'm playing Top Player difficulty with the fans camera (very zoomed out).

Completely dominated this match, but I had 1 mistake and they punished me. Even though I'm on Professional, the game is difficult for me as I'm not as good with FuMa as I was with PA1 + Adv. Shoot. But this is quite more enjoyable! Next up is UEFA Europa League and we go to October. I'll try to post more like "monthly reports" so I keep this clean

Hitting the infamous PES gridlock phase, shortly after entering the second half of the season with Malaga, 2nd Spanish League (Professional, PA1, Advanced shooting). I get that every year.

Every game a 1-0 now. Last six of them. Pity, because first 19 matches were so varied. Better teams really giving you a challenge, worse teams really playing crappy. Good range of score lines and wonderful variety of goals. Felt so satisfying but now it’s frustrating, repetitive and scripted. Depth is gone.

Did you also experience this or am I doing something wrong?

Okey, so I had a session of 3 games now..almost done with my first season with Man United,Superstar,
W18-7D-10L, I'm in 5th place. Had probaly the most exciting game vs Tottenham, won 2-1..chance after chance, could have been 5-5 or something.Fantastic!
Then Southampton(they played attacking from the start), I took a early lead..then suddenly lights out, dont know, but lost 4-1. Ings was so strong ,pushed away both Maguire who was on his back and then another player in the box to score..felt a bit over the top but okey, nice shielding from AI. Last game vs Aston villa..won 3-0 without any problem, that's PES I guess. Also felt like the players were more quicker, less "sluggish",but that's also PES.

Guys, I finally started my Masterleague. Here is a video of a game I played, please watch if you have time and try to see if you notice any of the negative things that people point out about the new game. I personally had a lot of joy playing and aside from some CPU fouls being ignored have not had any of the bad experiences that have been brought up. Master League is wonderful so far. My next game is against Juventus in the cup, and this is a big deal because Juventus should totally dominate me, but if it doesn't, that's a problem.

I got a penalty here! Immobile don't miss and we went 2-0 that moment. Caicedo scored twice and we dominated the match. We are through in the domestic cup

I love the realism.. even on here Almiron misses gilt-edge chances one on one.
