In the PES6 guide, they made examples of players with good / bad players with teamwork.
Emerson has 92 as Teamwork ability. "Emerson's Teamwork rating brings a lot to Brazil . Give him the ball when the other midfielders and forwards are under pressure. Dont worry too much about stopping him-its the attacking under pressure players that you really need to keep an eye on."
Makelele 93 teamwork " Makelele's excellent Teamwork rating makes him a player you can always count. Take advantage of his willingness to make himself available for the ball . Teammates under pressure from an opponent can pass ball back to him."
Cristiano Ronaldo has 60 in Teamwork. "Despite his remarkable abilities. C.Ronaldo has a fairly low Teamwork rating. Dont involve him in the build-up of passing moves . When he pushes forward his poor Teamwork stat makes his passes and crosses easier to intercept."
Inzaghi has 69 in Teamwork: "Despite his good attacking abilities, Inzaghi's teammates often have trouble picking him out with passes due to his fairly poor Teamwork rating. You will get the best out of him by playing him as a centre-torward and sending in crosses to him".
Ballack (85) Lampard (87) and Makélélé (93) in Teamwork (London FC): "In the midfield, Ballack, Lampard and Makélélé play an excellent passing game because of their very high Teamwork ratings. These key players work with the rest of the team to build moves. The quality of their Short Pass Speed means that the ball is passed around with great pace".

Teamwork: One of the most complex player attributes, a player's Teamwork rating is a measure of how well he can interact with his teammates. On its own, this stat doesn't mean a great deal; it's possible to surmise that a player with a total of 90 will be "better" than someone with 60, but little else.
To see how it has an impact on your side, you need to examine the Teamwork diagram on the Formation Settings screen. Select Change Player, then press
to toggle through the three displays. As you can see as you move through members of your squad, the reciprocal "understanding" between each player and his teammates is displayed by a series of numbers. We won't bore you with details on how this is calculated, but this is a truer indication of how a player will fit in with the rest of a squad -and, moreover, how well your team interacts as a whole.
During matches, Teamwork ratings have an influence on positional sense and passing. At high levels, players will be much more likely to make well-timed runs, will play or receive passes with greater precision, and will just generally be in the right place at the right time on a more regular basis. "In one word, the Teamwork system could be described as 'combination" within the team," explains Seabass. "So if Teamwork is low it's more likely that passes won't connect; a normal pass will be less fluid. If the Teamwork is high the players will move well, so the passing will be very fluid."
"In real-life football, one superstar player cannot change the whole flow of the game," continues Seabass. "In order to represent that, we developed this Teamwork system, so that sometimes passes won't reach a superstar player, or it's less likely that he would receive it in a very good position. Right now there are lots of restrictions due to the hardware, so we cannot improve the Al that much. But in the future we would like to explore and improve the depth in stats so that we can represent what is good Teamwork and what is not good Teamwork. My dream is that a not very famous club could win against Real Madrid because the Teamwork of the smaller team's players is good enough. That's kind of the ultimate goal with this system."

Many players often neglect to study the Teamwork ability of squad members when selecting them for matches, which can be a massive oversight: it has a very definite influence on how individuals perform and, indeed, how your entire team behaves as a unit.
To see how well your players interact, based on their individual Teamwork ratings, you should examine the Teamwork diagram at the Formation Settings screen. Select Change Player, then press the Long Pass Button to toggle through the three displays (Fig. 1). As you can see as you move through members of your squad, the reciprocal "understanding" between each player and his teammates is displayed as a series of numbers. We won't bore you with details on how this is calculated, but this can give you a true indication of how well a player fits in with his colleagues-and, moreover, how well your team interacts as a whole.
During matches, Teamwork ratings govern a player's positional sense and ability to play the right kind of passes. At high levels, players will be much more likely to make well-timed runs, will play or receive passes with greater precision, and will just generally be in the right place at the right time on a more regular basis. Players with low Teamwork ratings, by contrast, will be more inclined to misplace passes, may frustratingly drift from their designated positions, and will have a tendency to move too late, too soon, or not at all during attacks. If a member of your team has a low Teamwork attribute, you will often need to take it into account and adapt your playing style to compensate for this shortcoming.
It's no great problem to have a couple of players with low Teamwork ratings in your side - there are plenty of gifted wingers and attacking midfielders that fall into this category - but if too many individuals in your squad are not "team" players, you'll find it more difficult to maintain possession and build flowing passing moves. As in real life football, it can be wiser to play your most consistent first eleven, not the players with the (ostensibly) most spectacular stats. Your chosen team may well have a surfeit of footballing geniuses, but that doesn't mean that you need to field them all at once.

"Most players don't take any time to analyze the Teamwork ability of players when they put them on the field, but it has a definitive influence on their performance and on the functioning of the entire team as a unit. To see how your players interact, take a look at the Teamwork diagram on the Formation Settings screen. Select Change Players and then press the player change button to toggle between the three displays (Fig. 1). As you move through the different members of the team, a number between 60 and 99 indicates the mutual 'understanding' between each player and his teammates.
Teamwork determines each player's positional sense and their ability to make the right kind of passes. At the highest levels, players will make runs at the right time, receive passes with great precision, and generally be in the right place at the right time. Players with a lower Teamwork value, by contrast, have a greater tendency to make mistakes in their passes, to incorrectly move away from their designated positions, and will be prone to moving too late, too soon, or simply remaining static on attack. If a member of the team has a low Teamwork value, you will have to take it into account and adapt your playing style to compensate for this disadvantage."
