How come co ownerships only happen in Serie A?

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

I can imagine Chelsea co-owning everyone if the English FA allowed it.

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

Its never gonna happen. Even if he does leave, it might be Real Madrid but not Barca.

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

The futures of Miccoli and Enzo Maresca will be decided today.
All the co-ownership deals had to be resolved yesterday, but the deals of those two weren't. Both of them played this season for Fiorentina, being half-owned by Fiorentina and Juventus. So now both clubs will participate in a blind auction. The clubs have to hand in an sealed envelope to the Italian FA, with a secret bid in it for both players. The one with the highest bid gets the respective player and has to pay that fee to the other club.

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

Juve got both Maresca and Miccoli, and both of them on the cheap.
That's what Fiorentina get for trying to screw Moggi!

Yes, but I doubt very much that both will remain and therefore be used as bait for other players tho I wish Maresca stays.

Kutuzov is the only good reserve in Milan, Done a great thing with Sampdoria, I think he is ready to play with a great squade !!
I would say Doria may buy him !!

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

About Miccoli and Maresca, I think :
Miccoli to Roma, Cassano to Juve !
Maresca may stay, as Tachinnardi may be sold, or Alessio may stay and Maresca to be used in a good bid for Gerrard or Viera :s

Milan and Inter share too many players.

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

Re: Speculation Transfer 05/06 Thread

Pogatetz signs for Middlesbrough
Bayer Leverkusen defender Emanuel Pogatetz will officially become a Middlesbrough on July 1st after signing a five-year contract. The Riverside club will pay up to £1.8m for the Austrian international.
Boro manager Steve McClaren told his club's official website: "Emanuel has impressive international and European experience for a lad of his age. But he is only 22 and can go on improving, so we are looking to the future.
"We are trying to create competition for places throughout the team, which is something we lacked last season.
"We want to avoid getting into the situation we had last season when we wanted to rest senior players but didn't have cover for injuries. The fact that Emanuel can play either as a full-back or in the centre of defence is a big bonus".

Speculations
José-Karl Pierre-Fanfan (París Saint-Germain) ---> Real Mallorca
Vikash Dhorasoo (AC Milán) ---> Olympique Marseille
Danny Landzaat (AZ Alkmaar) ---> Birmingham City
Bogdan Lobont (Ajax) ---> Palermo
