Theres an announcement page on the official forums JB and they announce the new DLC every Friday afternoon

Because you're looking from your UK account, which makes it seem like everything is purchased so that you can't buy them. If you log into your US account everything works.

Eh? If you're referring to the disposable card thing, you have to have a credit card with no address on it to buy songs when you've bought the US version (otherwise it'll see you're from the UK and block you from using it). So I go and buy disposable IDT Prime somethingorother cards to buy the songs with.

Ah so we're getting the exclusive dlc of the uk version on the 20th!

With so many more of us now with rockband i think we'll have to gather together on a night and rock out

I'm probably getting this tomorrow but I doubt very much that I'll get my PS3 delivered tomorrow :(

I wont get back from Birmingham then until next Friday evening, so we need to get a group of us together next weekend?

Week of May 20th

Next week for DLC we have the tracks from the European release of Rock Band. All tracks are $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) each. They will be available Tuesday on the Xbox 360 and Thursday on the PS3.

Speaking of DLC - i'll have to sort out a idtprime card and get some DLC
Anyone got any good recommendations?

Quick Question - how do i sort it all out? Do i firstly order a card from the idtprime website and then either top it up through them or through a place near me?

How much do songs cost - i assume the correct currancy transfer rate so $1.99 will be 1.99 USD = 1.01645 GBP - So a pound and 1p or 2p ish

For what songs i should download - there are a few tracks ive seen i like so ill get them anyway - just wondering if anyone has found any really good tracks that the majority might overlook.

Says i need an account code but dont know if its on the card or on the stuff you get with the card.

If you have not registered your card prior to losing your Account Code, we can’t provide you with a new Account Code to access your account services e.g. account balance enquiry, registration and 'card to card' transfer. However, you will still be able to use the Prime Card to make purchases, as long as you have available funds to do so.

If you registered your card before losing your Account Code, you may still be able to access all of your account services by calling Customer Services on 0870 144 0280. We may also be able to send you your account code by email.

Don't make it top-uppable!

If you do then you have to provide your address, and if you provide your address then the card will get rejected for US content because you live in the UK!

He said to me he would try it and get back to me, but he didn't get back to me. You could give a fake address but that's a bit dodgy when it comes to a credit card.

So I get a new one every time yeah, but I load it up with as much money as possible so I don't have to spend £3 on each card too often.

Just picked up my Rock Band! WOOHOO!!

Unfortunately I don't have my PS3 yet though :LOL: It's pretty gutting staring at the equipment and not being able to use it yet :(

The guitar looks well impressive, how come it's got a second set of buttons down the bottom of the neck? Not sure I like the trigger without a click, feels weird.

The drums look pretty fancy, can't wait to have a go on those!

Roll on next week Friday!
