When you think about it, the only gamers who have a valid complaint about the lack of stadiums are the Player Cam gamers like me. When I play I see the entire stadium: roof, full stands, clock and scoreboard, city backdrop, etc. When most of you play with your Side-view Cams, all you see are adboards and the first 4-5 rows of fans, lol.

Wow! I know a lot of people prefer it, but for me it's too much. Makes me dizzy :CONF: it's nice for BAL though. My favorite cam is the broadcast one and this time it really makes the game looks shmexy:COP: I'm turning off everything on screen: name plates, power bar, cursor and only leave the scoreboard. Makes my dad wonder what match could I be watching at 9 in the morning :LOL:

Reminds me of my 8th grade kids years ago who would come to school on Monday without their homework done:

"Why didn't you hand in a biography report?"
"The book I wanted on The Beatles was already checked out of the library."
"So why didn't you write a report on the Rolling Stones?"

It could be great game, but legacy issues ruins it too much.

1) Defenders AI is horrible. Way too easy to tear defense apart with quick 1-2's or single through ball into the striker. Also its way too easy to get by defenders by quickly wiggling left stick, don't even need to use R2 dribbling or right stick moves. Its most problematic when you attacking through the middle and defenders fail to collapse to not let you give easy shot straight from the front. Finally defenders are really bad at reacting to loose ball or placing foot to intercept ball when it goes right besides them.

2) GK's still need revamp. The animations are horrible, the ball parrying into attackers for a rebound when he easily could parry to safe area, sticking near the goal line too much when he has to rush to close out attacker. Biggest reason scoring a goal is dull and there is too many goals that look exact the same.

3) Shooting mechanics very lackluster. Pes has been known for having great shooting, but this stigma gone since pes 2014. Getting into good position between ball and player to build up momentum for the perfectly placed shot used to be vital, not anymore. You can make quick 90 degree turns until u find little opening and blast it into top corner at full power that player can do. Another issue is low amount of different shooting animations, less than ps2-gen pes titles.

All in all it kinda reminds me of pes 4 where game had pretty good feeling to it, but was very arcadey as well.

I still maintain the most exciting thing in all of sports video gaming, is to score a goal in PES using the Player Cam and Fixed Cursor. You touch the ball for 5 minutes a game and are lucky to ever get a shot on goal, but when you finally score after playing 2-3 games like that, it's "YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!"

I see your pov, it does increase the difficulty. I guess everyone enjoys this game in a different way which is a great opportunity to create different stories. Oh boy, if only they'd fix some essential aspects that 80% of us point out and treat us with respect, they'd have so much to gain..

Playing with the Player Cam has allowed me to appreciate and enjoy PES all these years. Graphics look better and from a 3rd person pitch view you can't see all the gameplay issues you easily notice when viewing the game from afar. And who cares if it's too easy to score when you only score once every 2-3 games lol? I would buy PES 2016 in an instant because the Play Cam graphics and gameplay is the best its ever been. But there are just too many broken coding issues from last year that Konami didn't bother to fix. If I see one more CPU tap-in into the bottom far corner I'm gonna break my controller.

Noticed that when you select players that join attack when ia corner or foul, now you can select midfielders , besides defenders.
That wasnt in previous games.

Question: Do you have PES 2016? The demo doesn't have the Fixed Cursor option and that's pretty much all I use. Is this option in the full game or has it been removed? Anyone know?

Okay thanks a lot for the reply, I have the modded "full game" FIFA demo on my PC so no point in buying that, might just pick up PES 2016 and play me some Player Cam football.

ah, yes, the penalty kicks have gone from terrible to ridiculous - needs a total remake :P

luckily it's not a game breaker imho, but definitely needs to be fixed next year.

IMO, if you start to focus that much on those details, that means you don't like the gameplay that much to begin with. That's your main concern.

Let's go back to PS2 PES games. Do you think the majority noticed or moaned about "catalonia Stadium" (Camp Nou) being smaller in proportions than IRL (I did)? No, 'cause they were too busy enjoying the actual gameplay and modes.

Or, during the first PS3 FIFA games (08, 09), I wanted to play them 'cause they were better on the pitch than the competition, even when their stadiums (Bernabeu, Anfield) had similar issues to what you're explaining.

Every game I've played there are no fans. There's sounds and waving of banners and stuff but the stadium is empty...

I've tried uninstalling but it's just the same once I start it back up again.

Has anyone seen this or got a fix for it?

Are you on AMD GPU? I've only encountered this after overriding AA in CCC.

Not just similar settings,,,,manual shooting and 0 pass support?

Putting aside the weird lack of customisation, I dunno how Konami can spend years on this game and still have a camera that is too slow to keep up with the actual action.
That is an insane level of incompetence.

Stadium inaccuracies are more noticeable from a gameplay cam than player faces, hairstyles, tatoos and boots....the things PES fans obsess over. So while I agree - it doesn't really matter - these things can be seen as sloppy when PES has so few licensed stadia to deal with, as Placebo alluded to.
