why are the grass textures so low resolution?

in some replays, it was like area from ps2.
we mostly need high res grass textures.
other than that sweetfx will be make it look like ps4 almost( but i am curious that sweetfx may add input lag cause it is shader based)

Yup entrance scenes are back and if you mean like substitution cutscenes when you say sidleine animations, they're back too :)

Anyone got any idea when some kits will be sorted?

It's exciting times for me because we get to basically continue exactly where we left off with mods from last year. It's the same file structure.

I know some are disappointed about the graphics (not on par with PS4), but I don't care one bit about that. For me it's all about the mods. And the fact that we can continue from last year is the biggest thing.

PES will always be heavily reliant on Mods. Heck even Fifa, with all of its hundreds and hundreds of licenses, even that needs mods to bring it up to speed.

same here.
I hated the last one, but PES 2016 is nice, graphics are fine, not like Metal Gear, e.g., but i think with modding the game will be very enjoyable. Waiting a mod with atts and new kits for starting a ML

Only playing exhibition matches gets kinda boring. Can't start any sort of tournament until I've got the squad update. But guess what? MyClub seems to work just fine. Why not focus on the base game and at least get the updates done first. So typical that myclub gets the number one priority, just as UT in fifa. It's more important that people can spend their money in buying coins for real money than to have the base game up to date. Obviously.

The transfer window got closed for more than two weeks ago, and I could personally have fixed the transfers for my self in a day if I wanted to. This is so unprofessional. Can't believe that I'm sitting here year after year and get surprised of how they're thinking. Do they never learn? They're behaving like amateurs. But hey, we get some news update about the squad update sometime next week. So I'll play something else til then, I guess. What's the point in releasing a game that's not even finished, just wait one more week to release it if you have to. Looks better in my eyes at least.

Anyone knows if the animations and weather system that they incorporated for PS4/Xb1 is on PC or is it false advert on Konami's part?

I've been hearing mixed opinions on this. I can live with the downgraded graphic since we have a lot of tweaks but animations and the extra features are what make up for it.

I also heard even though the goalkeeper was supposed to be tougher this year, you can practically score a goal when kicking inside the box almost 100% of the time. Is this true?

Another way is to right click the settings.exe,properties,compatibility mode and tick Disable display scaling on High DPI settings.

I understand that this version is graphically subpar compared to the PS4 version etc.

Can anyone answer if the gameplay on the pitch is the same? Same animations, same fluidity etc?

I think it's the same Wabak. At any rate there are no obvious differences.

Gameplay is solid mate.Especially the close in stuff,tackles,interceptions etc.It has a good feel about it.
Graphically it does not look too bad with sweetfx enhancing it.

Played the PS4 version and the PC version.. the PC version is definitely not the same gameplay

No probs mate,having never played it on PS4 I wouldnt know.
But Your not really saying if its better or worse or what the key differences are.

The Level-of-Detail (LOD) is MUCH better than 14 and 15. I was quite surprised about that to be honest. No slowdown either on FPS, runs great for me. Pitch quality is really nice, although looking forward to seeing what pitch makers come up with.

Gameplay is the eyesore without the tactical adjustments - so hopefully Yair can come up with something awesome, or someone create the global editor so I can play with it :)

Played both PS4 and PC and it's exactly the same gameplay wise.

@Matt10 with a global editor is a blessing.

15 minutes matches, speed -1.

I had once arsenal do me 3 fouls almost in a row, in exhibition match.

Then I got games with no fouls whatsoever... its very very random.
