Still waiting for the demo, but don't think I am going to purchase unless I find it going for 10-15 pound.

You get so much more for your money when buying Fifa and I'm not saying its the better game in the game-play department but in every single other it trounces PES and you're a fool if you don't think otherwise especially the on pc.

I will be getting FIFA16 on PS4 mainly because my daughter plays it alot and I do not have as much desire to play these days. Last PES game I enjoyed was PES2011 since then it has been going downhill in most areas.

Surely Bhatti confirmed it was going to be launched the same day the game would get released?

Liking or disliking any game is a personal thing. What isn't personal, is whether or not the game is broken. In PES 2015, user defensive sliders were either mostly ineffective or, in the case of the compactness slider, entirely broken. Anyone care to test to see if the compactness slider in particular in PES 2016 has been fixed? I would appreciate it.

It's definitely more enjoyable with that tactic change. I was ready to shelve it early on before the tactic though.

Well, I must say I can't wait to try the demo (if any) and if it just comes some days after the full release there's not much I can do.
Yet I really can't understand how Konami could possibly look so amateurish and disorganized at times (see the transfers issue).

Yeah, I can't really remember, does the same happen with FIFA? Release it outdated and then update it after a week? I know understand profit90 better when he said that PS4 users got ripped off even more.

Edit: Imagine the FIFA fans who bought PES for the first time because they got sick of EA's crap :LOL:

SMH transfers that were made before the end of last season even aren't updated. Konami don't make it easy for themselves.

I hope you manage to get a game. Agree with you saying online has never been very good. There've been one or two years where it was playable, 2012 and 2013 I guess? There were of course problems with lag, and sometimes horrible matches, but on the whole I played quite a bit online.

I love having PES moments. Top Player, full manual, 89th minute. That last ditch tackle attempt was uh, quite something...

So, gameplay is same as ps4?

I dont played so much, but I feel some input lag in movements...

Ok, I've had a little look at the cpk files (Jenkeys PES File Explorer 2014 works perfectly) and have located the following:

dt12_win.cpk - In game graphics (Crowd Textures, Staff Textures, UCL Tunnel Entrances, trophies)
dt15_win.cpk - Menu, Editor, Thumbnails, Emblems and Logos
dt33_win.cpk - Gloves and Boot Textures
dt34_win.cpk - Kits
dt35_win.dts - Kit sleeve badges (EPL, Eredivisie etc)
dt36_win.cpk - Faces (Nested inside .cpk files inside dt36_win.cpk)
dt40_all.cpk - Music Playlist xml file
dt40_all.cpk - Commentary in awb format

Also useful to note are the Boot Textures = 512 x 256 and the Kit Textures = 2048 x 2048. I assume the kits are as detailed as the PS4 kits but I can imagine the PS4 boots being at least 1024 x 512.

Haha, what? So we won't get any roster update today or tomorrow, saturday or sunday, but we get info MAYBE on monday when the update is gonna be released. This must be a joke?

ok so got the full game just played a few matches and gameplay is to me 100% the same as the ps4 demo i have if there is any difference at all on the pitch apart from graphics lighting ect then its so minuscule i havent noticed hope someone is nice enough to mod the gameplay so the AI shoot not just in the bottom corner everytime

i have a quick question when changing the net pattern of a team is there a way to decided what colors it uses? say bournemouth using black and red nets?

Played 5/6 games, superstar 1 bar assistance.

+ Shirts (obviously not on par with PS4, lack most shaders....still better than Fifas)
+ Some faces
+ Lod (this year is ok, probably better than default Fifa)

- everything else

really....i'd love to like this game as much as you guys...but i can't see a reason.
No fouls (how people/reviewers can call this the best football game ever when the basics of the beautiful game are missing its beyond my comprehension), no animation fluidity, few stadiums, terrible shooting with no weight whatsoever...
And don't even make me start with the graphics quality.....
The game is just heartless....i feel nothing when i play, no emotion when i score....
Hope to change my mind in the next days....but i really doubt it.

Input lag is bad in this one, I did some things that were already mentioned here and it improved a little bit but still..otherwise not bad, but this ruins the whole experience.

Changing from xinput to directinput in controller settings maybe helps?

I cannot comprehend that the transfers are not even up to date as of a month or two ago, shambolically unprofessional and amateur.

Right? It would be slightly easier to bear if it was just some of the more recent transfers, but none of United's transfers? Christ, we signed the likes of Schweinsteiger in July! Amateur hour. I personally haven't noticed any input lag thus far. Certainly nothing like 2015.
