Doesn't look that bad. With graphical, stadium and full patch modifications PC will turn out better than the PS4, IMO.

For all the hype, Not impressed by PS4 version at all. It just looks like sweetfx is added. And 3d grass. That's about it IMO.

textures and lighning are a joke for a game in 2015 on PC....

hope Community can fix Koamis lazyness and treating the loyal PC Fans

And who will do that? Modders? We all should then pay Modders not Konami. I dare all people here not to do any editing with this game at all.

Pretty much true :LOL: the diff is that they're falling for the bait and we're 'entitled' and complain 'for no reason'

To be honest, grass in the close-up and stadium structure (see the wall on the image with all the people) look better on PC than on PS4.
I must agree on shoe textures though: they're not something we'll get to see from that close but still adding in their mipmap another texture with 2x res wouldn't hurt as it would only be used for close-ups, not during normal gameplay).
And yes, the crowd on PC is abysmal.

These are such little things yet so annoying, and I must admit that I really can't get my head around what they were thinking when they decided that, for example, the shoe texture size was OK as it was.

exactly, some people feel as if it is a given that the modders will fix the game for them

I for one do not & I would pay a small fee for modders to correct Konami's shambles :D

Those saying the gameplay (ie, more animations, ball physics etc) is different, can you explain exactly how ? I cant see it, most differences can be explained as the ps4 version is optimized, while the pc version is running on a not so great pc or not configured correctly as there is alot more stuttering. Pes 2015 on my PC does not stutter at all like that.

Looks like the same game gameplay-wise. And when you are actually playing the game, you dont even notice any graphic differences.

That comparison shot of Rooney, on PC version at the end of polish video you can see PC version has those shiny graphics on players face and arms which are missing in the comparison shot I mentioned.

EDIT : 8 hrs until steam unlocks it.

We gotta copy all the Ps4 files and paste it on our PC version dir. If the Engine's same- it should work.

Most patching sites make some money on download links and donations.

But yes the modders are fantastic, was sad when PESEdit left the scene.

Ye scummy move to trick people into buying game with screenshots from ps4 version. If it wasn't a sports game such move would be already exposed by big reviewers like totalbiscuit.

I agree, the animations on the PC-version in the video are pretty lousy.

I don't care too much about lightning and textures, but damn it, couldn't they have fixed smooth animations at least?! :Y1

But if you play on game speed -1 on a decent PC, then maybe it will look ok.

naturally if one was to mention the game pes 2016 to anybody, they would associate it to the console version. this is really the root cause of the issue, the pc version is given no flying fucks by anybody in general

Well done moderator. We all know that Konami treatment to PC users is not the best one but I can ensure this fórum will be full of people thanking modders for their turf patches and other ones. By the way, this PES 2016 PC versión doesn´t look so bad if you concentrate on gameplay and all of us colaborate in patches to improve the game.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Nobody is under any obligation to buy and play the game - yer pay yer money and yer takes yer choice... It is certainly sad to see the demise of the PC version of PES but so be it - I've still pre-ordered and will give it a go.

I will also buy FIFA 16 this year as the demo suggests EA have finally nailed the gameplay and general feel after last year's woeful effort.

People can either accept PC PES for what it is and still buy it, or decide to save their money and invest elsewhere.


P.S. Spare a thought for us who grew up with this as the cutting edge football game of the day...
