PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Yeah, that Polish review of the PC game stated that there is no a dynamic weather in PC version and it is an absolute true. They also wrote a bit about crowd, which is built of maximum 4/5 different bodies, and 70% of public looks identical. KONAMI didn't even spread them around the stadium to avoid head to head 'integration'. And we might notice 5 or 6 exactly the same 'fans" seating next to each other in a same row :APPLAUD:

Their quality is even worst than in PES 2008.

The number of animation (cut scenes) has been cut as well.

Fiercely ugly turf (which is flat at all times - as you could notice already)

That´s really sad!

I mean, don´t wanna keep on bashing on KONAMI.
But as a fan of the series it nearly breaks my heart that they let that game go down the drain on PC without any comprehensable reason.

PES 6 up to PES 2013, we never had to complain about the visuals, except for that blur effect which you could patch out easily.

That was back then and now, when you can bring out such great visuals on todays PC´s (even on average ones), it´s just unbelievable how PES 2015 and 2016 look.

I already hear people say "screw the crowd, it´s all about gameplay".
Some even patch the crowd away and play in an empty stadium to make it more fluid.

Yeah, well we can do this and that, edit here, patch there etc, what else do WE - the PC customers - have to do to make this game as satisfying as possible??

But I, for my taste, would love to play a footy game that also looks like football, without me having to patch and edit around the shit out of it.

Now whatever the reason is that they keep the PC port down like that (I don´t buy that piracy stuff), they better don´t do it for PES 2017.

We can't judge until we have the game ourselves. I'm sure stuff can be unlocked and added like always. As long as the Gameplay is spot on I don't care because the awesome modders will do the rest.

 That article is from Feb, that right there gave me hope that 2016 will get a proper port. :D I guess the PC needs to be over 50% to convince this single-minded company.

Our only hope. Modders :WASTED:

They really fucked konami for the pc ver in this review. For me a big let down is a ps4 ver -too similar to pes 15. That game needs a REvolution not evolution. Pc ver i will not even download from torrent. Fuck u konami. Thank god we have so good fifa game this year.

So release day! Kind of.

This really is a new low for Konami. I personally believe they should do 1 of 2 things:

1. Do not release a PC version at all
2. Release the PC version much later, like 2 months or so, to give their dev teams time to actually make a viable game

Dunno who manages the PES property for them, but it's an omnishambles.

PC version gives you a good old PS2 retro feeling this year ,Utter garbage wouldn't pay £5 for it this year, Konami do not deserve their loyal customer/ fanbase.

Sadly I can't imagine a Arkham Knight style backlash from the community. You'd hope for mass refunds on Steam, but clearly people are happy to rely on modders to finish what Konami couldn't be bothered to do. I'll reluctantly buy on the PS4. Sorry state of affairs.

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

How the hell is it even possible that there's actually NO PC footage at all in the whole internet (well, apparently at least in the internet all the people on evo-web know/use) despite some people claiming to already own the game and despite some (okay, like two) gaming sites having released reviews of it? So fking weird. :D

It's a demo so it won't have any protection to "hack", sure they might mod it, perhaps they can even mod in visuals that look like something that doesn't belong on a PS2 but that's very different from hacking...

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Same group of people that previously were insulted by Konami and called hackers are now the only hope to save the PC version to make it remotely viable as an alternative game.

I know, right? Said it before, I'm not a modder but still utterly pissed off about their attitude (as any normal human being would be)

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Turf and crowds look arguably better on modded pes6..
Except player models and some faces game simply looks ugly, even for the older gen graphics standards. Pes 2010 have got best graphics on pc because lightning and good looking turfs.

Another thing regarding turfs is the color, in ps4 vids and screens its nice saturated green color like it should be and for pc version its some washed out vomit color. Or is it just some different stadiums are like that ?

It was and is, utterly disgraceful, the modding community and mods they released (ironically enough to be used with modded PS2's a fact Konami chooses to forget) are what gave Konami the market share they once enjoyed with PES and have now thrown away due to neglect, greed and incompetence.

It's their loss :) They're losing some great, loyal fans

Konami doesn't acknowledge the modders or editors despite the lack of licenses, if not they would have provided more tools in game to edit the game

Yeah. I can't see this ending well.

I can totally understand why modders would want to walk away from PES after being treated as pirates, hackers and Konami generally making life difficult for them. Other game devs embrace the modding scene.

The way I see it, modding should never be about 'finishing' an incomplete product. It's something that is done to customise, improve and enhance. If modders need to do Konami's work for them then it's a poor product.

Konami is calling modders hackers/pirates while 2K is giving them the job :LMAO:

Re: PES2016 - PC Version Discussion Thread [ASIM/BHATTI TALK = NOT PC RELATED]

Those are cons from that polish review of PC version :

  • Engine is actually working worse than PS4/Xb1
  • Limited animations
  • Ulgy audience + flat turf
  • NO DYNAMIC WEATHER AT ALL

im kinda speechless..........Reloaded, do your work, you'll be faster then demo.
