The best way I can describe it is like so.

Imagine you are with Bar Rafaeli (google her) and she's got a black eye and a gammy leg, or something. Now, you know that what you've got has the potential to make you shit gold, but isn't really up to it at the mo.

Conundrum.

Britney Spears is starting to make advances towards you. Yeah, she's pulled herself together somewhat but... No thanks. I've seen her junk and that did not look pleasant. I'd rather wait it out with the Israeli because, damn son, damn.

That's pretty much it.

Hey Badgerman, what do you think about WE9 Liveware Evolution? Is WE10 better in terms of gameplay, and the free kicks you keep mentioning? I love the way it's done in WE9, but I want to know if I'm missing out on much.

WE9LE was the game where I realised my PES potential and became a gaming God.

I had a few goals stored on my old webspace but I forgot to save them after moving from ntl. Safe to say that they were the best goals ever scored by man.

The transition from WE9LE to WE10 wasn't all that much by my estimate. Then again I've played WE10 so much that they both sort of blur together.

Either way, both of them were fantastic games.

edit: Oh great, that scary-ass picture of De Rossi is back to haunt my dreams.

Indeed. Winning Eleven 8: Liveware Evolution was one of the best sports games ever. Especially with the Team Reefur 2005-2006 patch.

I hope they've listened to fans about the Master League.

But the news about gameplay makes me optimistic.

Having started going back on PES5/6, I can only agree with this statement. It would certainly do me.

This idea that if Seabass and his buddies took a dump in a PS3 case and charged £45 our collective response as a community should be one of "best Pro Evo eva, Pro Evo 4 life!" etc., is frankly one that is starting to really piss me off bigtime to be honest...nothing but PR and hype from Conami and their shills so far people.

And the people behind WENB are in my view, money grubbing/freebie hunters - perhaps they take their ethics from our "wonderful" MPs???

You can bitch all you want about WENB and fanboyism and the like but the basis of your argument simply doesn't fly. There isn't simply 'more critical discussion' on other websites, you and I both know that, and this post, laughable as it is, is a perfect example.

Jess are you taking the piss? Any non-positive comments are not allowed on WENB - just yesterday Adam berated a poster for mentioning PES2008 and PES2009 telling people that only a "positive" attitude will "help" Konami to improve their product. Silly me I thought perhaps if Konami had given a damn about quality control and investment in their product that might be a little more important. Like I say silly me if Konami turn it around it will NOT be becuase of a massive drop in sales and the reputation of PES; no we will have to thank the "PES 4 life innit" crowd!

I post regularly on WENB and whatever you think of them they are getting a steady stream of news and cover the game better than any other site.

Yes, the forums can be overly positive but I guess it's better than overly negative like this place has become. You can criticise PES on there as long as it's constructive, and I guess they are trying to create a friendly atmosphere and good vibe about PES2010. Basically, keeping people like you away from there.

Credit to them, they have got Konami reading, and now posting on their boards. I doubt Konami would pay attention to this forum any more.

This was the 1st game I patched and the Team Reefur was the 1st Patch I used...this for me was the best Pro Evo / WE I have played...

I don't think any others come close...

I miss those days since I haven't had a PS2 since the 360 came out...I think something that made pro evo so special to me was how easily it could be patched, some of the music on those patches were awesone (fitty Cent - candyshop on the main menu screen was a particular favourite)

I post on WENB too, TBH EVO and WENB are too different beasts. This is much more that a PES forum, sure there are PES threads and a massive editing forum but there is such a diverse set of members and guests in here now...

There is far less of a big brother feel too, lets face it every other member on WENB is Staff...

Thats a fair point. I like both sites but WENB is more active when it comes to PES, this place is more of a fifa site in all but name.

Even the Mods, from what I read, are all Pro Fifa. Is the domain name Fifa-Web is still up for grabs ??
