Ah I've now worked it out - The skin colours actually look real this year. Previously it looked as if the players had spent a few hours hanging around Chernobyl.

What are you on about? PES6 was hardly laggy. It was the last lag-free PES experience I had. Only the Adriano-lovers ruined it.

This screenshot looks awesome, but I want to see in game and on wide cam before I get hyped. In PES2009 the replays looked superb but not that good in play.

Looks nice - finally the faces don't look like somebody has printed a picture of somebody and sellotaped it to their face and actually look properly 3D.
More importantly, it needs to look and play as realistically as that still picture looks.
I'm disappointed that they've had to go back to the PES6 online system, yes it has been the best online PES so far (PES5 was really laggy a lot of the time) but they should be making new features rather than going back to ones in games that are 3 years old.

about pes2010 online, going back to pes6 road, that alone is fantastic news. i never think i ever played any game, online that much, couldn't stop playing that game till my hands where in pain. but again we been hearing from seabbas himself for 2years that the online has improved, they even promissed as that pes09 will have a patch to fix the online mode, what a rubish the online when worst in each version, so me personaly won't get my hopes up till i try it myself.

I don't know why, but whilst both of those images look pretty decent, the skin colours do seem to indicate that the players are somewhat dead.
I mean, don't pile on the fake tan but at least give them a bit of life. The guy on the left looks as if his life was cut short and he now roams the earth looking for justice.
Messi looks as if he's just seen his gran get hit by a bus in slow motion, incapable of saving his, now airbound, relative from snapping her neck and making a scene.
Someone needs to brighten them up because when I play football I don't want to be thinking of my gran in the ground or whether or not my best mate is going to murder me in my sleep.

I'd be careful what you wish for.
I'm a Portsmouth fan and the various incarnations of what is meant to be Pompey that Konami have produced is incredible. I mean, I know we're not exactly world beaters but we're not Accrington Stanley.
They don't bother researching our players, which means that Richard Hughes is more useful than Niko Kranjcar, they seemingly design our kit based on someone saying "Uh, it's got blue white and red on it I think" and they put us in the shittest stadium every single time.
I know I don't have a right to say that Portsmouth should be better than the Milan's, but we're the Champions of Asia (don't forget). They should be making golden statues of David James and Hermann Hreidarsson, instead they insist on treating us as some provincial club that will be relegated soon, thus not worth the bother. I probably would have understood that approach were it not for the fact that we are about to complete our 5th year in the Prem.
