Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

The information about the German national team was first revealed by a WENB member who had sent an e-mail to the DFB.

He received their answer yesterday.

The other sites just retrieved the information, so you can be confident :).
Lol, hm, I got the same email...

Yesterday 10 AM, who was earlier... :)

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I never really saw the Bundesliga being fully licensed, being true or believable, more reliable sources would have said, or would of been protected a bit better at this stage...

However the German national team being licensed is believable, as its smaller scale and seems like a bit of information they would release, just to say, yo peeps, we got the national team, cool ey, and continue with work.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

everbody claiming the bundesliga news to be fake should have paid more attention, all PSM said was BUNDESLIGA BACK , that says nowhere that they actually licensed it.

Well said... as I said before, I guess it will come unlicensed...

Oh :o nice !

If you two received the same mail from the DFB so there is no place for doubt.

It hasn't been confirmed by konami but as the main interested has confirmed it, how can it be denied ?

I just hope we won't wait too long until konami's confirmation !

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Konami should work a little bit on sound effects.
In the fact all what they have to do is to bring back the old files.

The "wooden" sound effect shortly followed by a shocked "Ooooh !!!" by the crowd when the ball hits the post in PES 3 was very spectacular.

That sound of the ball hitting the post in Tulio's shot (1:10) is also amazing !

Please spare us that awful 'metallic' sound. :II

I think using the name 'Bundesliga' is what caused the confusion. They should have just said the German league is back and it would have been clearer to us.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

well at least the german league is back. meaning they can start trying to get licenses for 2011

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

There should be sliders for different sound effects so you can adjust the volume of the ball being kicked, ambient pitch volume (players shouting, etc)and crowd noise rather than all being under one sound effects setting.

I would turn down the sound of the ball being kicked as you hardly hear it watching a real game.

not true at all mate.. There are mike booms all over a football pitch and typically they pick up that noise. I hear it in any match that is produced in hi-fidelity... typicall HD matches, especially euro 2008 which was shown here in HD and dolby digital 5.1

I wish, but it remains exclusive to EA until 2012...

Rumours say that Konami didn't even try to get the bundesliga licence this year, so EA got it for 3 years...

Anyway, an unlicensed bundesliga (as in PES5) with a complete licence for the Mannschaft would be largely enough :))

That's true, I watch HD DD5.1 matches all the time, but the ball in PES2009 sounds like someone banging a drum and in real life the sound of the ball is much softer and doesn't dominate so much. If there was a an option to turn the volume down on the ball sound in PES2009 it wouldn't have been nowhere near as annoying.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I do wish we get new cameras (old ones + the possibility of choosing height zoom and angle). We u play some many games like we do u need new cameras to play around.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Looks good but I hope their is more ML related news to come.

I like the layout in this screen.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Well, it looks like they're making an effort. I see a loan list. Perhaps players can be loaned for a whole season now? A youth team too (will every club have their own? (ie different names?).
I'm not bothered about all that sponsorship stuff though. I'd rather just play the game. Real money is a welcome inclusion though.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

But that D2 league... seems the same leage structure as before. Is it so difficult to implement Spanish/English/Italian/... leagues, with a 8 or 10 teams second division (even with not real names) for each one??
I dont want uefa teams promoting into the spanish league...

Yeah, I like what they've done to the interface of the ML. The real currency use is confirmed by the looks of the screenshots.
Hopefully they give us extra team slots so we can create the league structure of our own choice instead of just bundling up different leagues together.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

The guy above mentioned 8 or 10 teams in D2. I was just mentioning that the picture implies there are at least 18 teams (possibly 20?) in D2.

Because the team used in the pic is ranked 18 so its a given fact that there at least 18 teams, just to make things crystal clear. ;)

What I hope/won't want it to happen is that the D2 in the ML uses a foreign league, which will cause mixed teams from different countries after promotion and relegation.

Konami reveals expanded managerial elements, including new fiscal, sponsorship, and youth team elements

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has outlined significant advances to the Master League section of its forthcoming PES 2010 title.

Master League has proven one of the key attributes to the PES series' longevity, and PES 2010 will introduce a number of new elements that will contribute to the overall realism and lasting appeal of the new game.

On selecting the Master League option, players are now presented with a menu split into three areas: 'Club House', 'Stadium Walk', and 'Office'. Each of these is an umbrella for different parts of a manager's role, with 'Club House' used for tactical and match day options, 'Stadium Walk' for main game settings, and 'Office' for scouting and player acquisition dealings.

The in-game menus are now much simpler to navigate, and players can jump between the three areas with ease. The Club House element has also seen the creation of an all-new Youth Team section, which works alongside the first team squad. As the game progresses, the player can opt to invest in talented members of their youth team to fast-track their development. This burgeoning talent can then be introduced into the first team, as with so many real-life 'academies.'

The Office area is where all transfer and financial dealings take place. Real currency is now used in PES 2010, and additional monetary routes are also available. Sponsorships can now be negotiated, with player securing big money deals with companies that can be used to invest in the team and youth set-up. Results on field affect the direct value of the club to interested parties, and fan clubs are also used as a barometer of the club's success.

A big change of interface it looks like. Out goes the side panel navigation from the last few games for this 'dial' like system. At first glance it looks more organized but I guess how it functions will be the most important bit. Nice to see actual months and currency being used, they're only small things but welcome nonetheless.

The youth team is a great addition in my opinion. Hopefully it will help develop the younger players who aren't quite good enough to play for the first team when they join the squad. Having a quick look down the squad list from the screenshot you can see plenty of familiar names with ML legends Castolo and Minanda still in the game.

The strategy gauges bring new tactical elements to the game, and with these additional managerial elements, as well as more to come, Master League is shaping up to be a much deeper game mode.

I totally agree with that.
I hope they have lower league teams from the bigger countries.
I don't want Greek teams promoting to Serie A.
It would be good if they had the complete second division from Italy, Spain, France, England...but that will be asked too much.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

I'm fairly confident that D2 will have to be made up of random club teams, not lower leagues from the same country as D1. That's how Konami roll.

What i would rather have, is the ability to:
a) switch off D2, or decide how many teams you wish to include.
b) decide how many teams play in D1 & D2, eg 10 in each (like splitting the Premier League in two.

maybe we will have the option to create our own division 2 from the blank leagues like league c,so we could say make championship teams in the free spaces provided, hopefuly konami have added more blank leagues to fix this issue
