I've been on a The Day Today and Brass Eye binge as of late and that Partridge bit was brilliant. "And another" and "SHIT" were the highlights for me.

I wouldn't mind someone screaming expletives when I score, other than my online opponents of course, who like to inform me of various activities I can engage in with my mother.

edit: My father was that Peter File, RIP dad :'[ And remember, cake is a made up drug. Ahahah, Shatner's bassoon.

It must've been that ''we never set out to make PES a simulation rather more fun'' comments after PES2009s release.
I think they've decided to muzzle him as a result of his anti-PR.

Btw can we make a concerted effort not to talk about WENB for once.
If you want to bad mouth them fuckoff and do it to their faces.

Yep, I never miss an episode. Best football podcast out there. James Richardson is the best football pundit/presenter in the country and it's disgraceful that he's hidden away on Setanta's Football Matters (although Rebecca Lowe isn't too bad).

Bring back Football Italia, the pink papers and unfinished desserts!:APPLAUD:

is there any any any hope at all that they might just port pes6's gameplay over to the next gen and release that? that will be well-received by at least 90% of the world's population, no doubt. pes08 was fking terrible. pes09 was just terrible. i dunt want pes10 to go in the way the last 2 have gone please.

if konami really screws it up again like they did in 08 and 09, i swear im never getting another winning eleven game for the next 5 years. its their last chance for me. pes4-6 were absolutely brilliant. cant the japanese pricks give us a game of that calibre again. damn it.

just to cover all possible release dates il say that konami will 100% send the game out in autumn 2009

Enjoy the view! We are now trying to play different effects of light according to environmental conditions in general.

At the beginning we have worked to improve the conditions of the time during the day / cloudy. Complex effects such as the way in which the colors of grass and sky are reflected on the players will look and feel much the games more realistic. Currently we are focusing on improvements to the texture of the skin of the players so that they seem more natural. We are also using much of our time in improving the effects of shadows. This is proving more difficult than you can imagine, but it’s essential to increase the realism of the game. Everything, especially the players, seems to be more vital. Given the results we are getting, the whole team is feeling very motivated. You can see what I mean from the screenshot we just posted.

Entering into details a little more technical, from PES2009 we redid the filter color correction. Our producer, Mr. Hatsumi, has complained when I removed the filter before, but I am convinced that the new one is much better and more powerful using this new filter for color correction. We can produce the colors and atmospheres of the most convincing before. For example, in some stages I would like to have more opportunity to experiment with colors and effects of metals. Follow many other improvements and refinements, and then continue to follow my blog."

still nothing about animations,you can have all the colour filters you want but if the game still moves like the last 2 games theres no real point in releasing it

Thomas, please continue to post your news over here...you have lots of fans...you should not take notice of the wind up merchants...usually they end up being banned...
But to be honest, mods should be stricter in this thread...

I think he's saying this forum is not serious. You can't blame him if you see how some people overhere insulted him after some of his novelties.

I think neither of both fora are very serious: WENB is overly positive and EVO-web is overly negative. The good thing of beeing overly positive is that people are not sarcastic or insulting.

The bad thing of beeing overly negative is that people who really have news turn away from the negative forum as they don't want to be insulted.
