The PES/ISS team has released incomplete games, lagging games, rushed out games and games with fake names... but they never released an unresponsive game. I'm really sure it will be sorted in the remaining 30%

I agree. I think most of these problems are already fixed in the later builds. The Gamescom build was much older than the one most media got. I never read people of the media complain about it. That tells me that it isn't there, else they would have write it in their preview/reports.

We just want to see next-gen PES.Good mo-cap animations,slower game.Harder goal.Better physics.Better goalkeeper.Better defence.Some tricks.And Simulation.And We waited 3 years.Can KONAMI do that? Yes but simply they don't do that.

They just made next-gen graphic.They focused arm-hair.Wow arm-hair.Who cares animations and realistic game.We have got excellent arm-hair.We have got 3d crowd.Ok they are lifeless,they can't do mexician wave but who cares.We have got excellent arm-hairs.

And again again,we are talking newer build.Newer build is coooming and newer build is excellent.Newer build is fluidly.But newer build never came.

Don't get me wrong.I don't know you guys,I'm big pesfan but i'm not fool.I don't believe any japanese people anymore.

We waited 3 years.And just found pes 2008 v3.Good lucks for all pesfans.

Well the players were not great, but the game flowes well in this build, which is not the Gamescom one, just look at the start. It is from a debug-kit.
It confirms what most of us said before about the different builds.

Only a small correction! PES and ISS are different games , made of two different teams ;) KCET and KCEO

whoa really? I always thought PES/WE was the new continuation of ISS....

ISS's next-gen game would have been the #1 football game in a blink...

Year 2010,we are still watching baywatch style running.Bravo seebass,KONAMI sells million copies PES/WE.You are giving a lot of money messi and torres.But who care us? I don't bother with stadium and nets, as long as the lighting is not uber crap like in 2009, I don't even care with sound, in my opinion, sounds in football game so far are crap just an endless loop of squeaking sound lol so I turned off the sound all time :D

crowds? I also don't really need it.... score boards and GUI also don't bothers me much as long as they're good at telling me information

these aren't big deals for me.

realistic gameplay is what matters to me. :BYE:

If only they could work out the animations and player movement/technique and make it as realistic as it can be, it would be the greatest game.

and I noticed in a lot of videos that goalkeepers aren't responding to shots! :DOH:

and the AI cannot do 360 degrees dribbling :DOH:

Referees are what need the most work.. I just played Arsenal vs Villareal on PES 09 and the AI got 5 men sent off and the match was abandoned.. I would say maybe 2 of those were red cards and this was on Top Player.. The refereeing in 09 is absolutely shocking and that to me ruins a game more than animations.. First they need to fix that and then sort the rest out..

I may be wrong but i think they finished Major A off, or they merged with seabass's team.

I remember waltzing like an artist with those skill in match (like a real Zidane) on ISS98-2000 on N64.

can't for life of me understand that it has taken so long to get even near that type of 360 control.

Apparently kceo and kcet were combined a few years back, i've posted about it a few times, even in this thread i think, maybe pes has so many issues because of conflicting ideas/styles from both teams. Both games were very different.

This for me is the main reason I prefer PES over FIFA... When you press a button, the game reacts pretty much instantaniously on PES yet FIFA 09 seems to take an entirety in certain situations to react.

I have tried FIFA 09 for the last 6 months and I just don't enjoy it.

Half the time I feel like a spectator whilst FIFA plays on it's own.

If PES has lost it's quick response times, that's a major blow.

I can live with the poor running animations and other nuances as long as it's FUN!

Games playing should be about escapism and bring a smile to our faces not frustrtaion.

On the release of the demo's for both games is probably the time to judge.

This is by far the most impressive video I've seen, I've actually witnessed 360 control to the very end and from the decent quality of the video it seems to flow pretty well. However the lack of passing in the middle is pretty unfortunate.

ppl just dont have a clue how to record/capture the screen agmeplay from another monitor.
F*cking amateurs, go lear from gametrailers.com how to make good capture with a camcorder.

Damn, two days away and it's negative city. Dawolf have you played FIFA 09, how does it compare to that.

I've a feeling any slowing down to a more realistic speed and reaction times, ie 'you can't sprint full bore then turn 180°
with the ball' is going to come as a shock to PES hard-cores. I know for me for the first week of Dark siding I was going "WTF, no way, this is sooo slow"...
