The Manual passing, has that been improved ? More directional control and power ? and is it also related in any way to the players stats ? For example, Xavi's pass power bar increases slower to give you a better chance of judging it ? Is it still on the right stick for manual passing ?

Agreed... it's still too dark when compared to real night games. But at least it's not as "shiny" or "desaturated" as the messi/eto screens...
i did last night(after playing last weekend for two games), 2 v 2 for about 4 or 5 hours, it was great fun. One thing is that it is too fast. I think that if they slow it down, have better running animation, and fix the physics(which is really fake), 2010 could be really fun 2 v 2 or 1 v 1, but the cpu is still wank in this game, very boring playing vs cpu, one good thing was that the 4 fifa players i was with, never wanted to go try fifa, although one of my boys said, this is the exact same as fifa, i said its wayyy diferent
