I just wonder How is the gameplay ? I mean how does it feel? Your impression, your reaction? Did you say to yourself "Oh this is f***ing great" ? Or any disappointments?
Because when we watch the video we don't feel it. We just can feel it when we get the pad in to our hands with that game.

its improved and smoother,passing ,shooting,tackeling is a lot better, and the AI is deffo on higer level m8.
So yes the gameplay is great,from the reviews the game had from al the websites/game magz or personal reviews its scores higest with the GAMEPLAY:)

Oh, thank god! That leaves me more quiet. I was wondering if the game was the same as the last PES, but this is great news! Thank´s for the info. For me all is about the gameplay (we used to play 2 vs 2 wiht my friends! ) Thank yu
 
Well no gameplay impressions from me yet, but something I noticed when creating a master league on the PS3.

You cannot create a logo anymore, but you can scan logos with the eyetoy camera. I dont have one, so i cannot tell you how it works. Other thing is that the customization of self made kits has decreased to 11 variations in shirts. No extra layers you can mess around with to make nice kits. Only thing you can do is change colors somewhat.

If you start with a custom team you only get 1000 funds to get new players, so really limited. Further all the default players from the series are there, like Stromer and Castoro.

You can customize the leagues entirely and you can decide if you want hidden and classic players to appear in the master league.

That is as far as i have gone creating a master league, kinda disappointing no more awesome shirtdesigns with a custom made logo.

I have the game just played it for about 4 hours. Its a good game. It feels like pro evo to me. Except for a few things. It seems to me the quicker the players you have in your team are the quicker the gameplay is. That seems obvious to say but you will see what i mean once you have the game.
Another thing is the replays... jesus how quick do they want to make them. Im wondering if my xbox has something wrong with it, its that bad. Again you'll see what i mean
 
Thank GOD the gameplay is still good.
All the negativity was starting to make me doubt this would be a good game.
It seems people are trying to flood the WE next gen thread with so much negative vibes, and insulting Seabass(who does what he can with limited resources). It's like they will only be happy if noone buys the game :(

in league and cup you can't change the side which you control


unlocking without pes-shop:
after winning cups and leagues, you will unlock classic players (see gallery for more info). after winning the dutch league i unlocked 4 classic dutch players, after winning the europian cup some more etc etc.

it seems like you have to play the ml for some seasons to collect the all-starteam... :(

My impressions of the PS3 version

My friend junka asked me about my impressions of the PS3 version so i cant let him hang :-)

First i must say i have PES2008 on the PS2;X360;PC and on the PS3!!!

The thing where the last days everybody talked about are the massive slowdowns wich should be in the ps3 version of the game. So i had installed the game on my hdd and i must say to all the people:what the fuck,wich massive slowdowns did u all mean??? I play the game yesterday on my pc(AMD 2 Core 5000+ 4gb ram 512mb Ati HD26000 Pro) and i must say the slowdowns on the ps3 version are not so extreme like everybody say. There are a few lil slowdowns in the replays but i dont must speak about that because of the x360 version has more slowdowns. And i can say that the slowdowns are not a problem. All 3 versions i played run still fine. the only thing why the pc version of the game is in my eyes on place 1 of all the releases is that u can a lil bit more with the edit mode because of that fact that u can upload jpgs from your hdd right into the game. PS3 and X360 users must use a webcam( i use an creative live! cam optia af on my ps3;perfect;later a post a pic of an created face with that).

So let us come to the important things of the game,the gameplay: this year the game is a lil bit faster in my eyes then in the years before but it is still perfect like in the years before. The animations of the players are great and u love it when u see them run. The AI is this year one of the best things i ever had seen in an soccer game. When u got the ball ur teammembers run into the freespaces to get the ball and in every minute of the game ur teammembers use their brain.

So my first game today was Chelsea vs Manchester United(i won 3:2 after overtime :-) ). When u have the time play versus Manchester and watch all the players how they move and how they play the ball. When u look at C.Ronaldo when he gets the ball, its like u watch a real game in the tv. When he has the ball into the game he tries to go in 1vs1 situations and dont have an eye for his teammembers. Other player like Scholes play nice passes to the teammmembers and try to shot from long range. Every player on the field has his own style like in the real life and that is how is is so kewl to play that game. From the gameplay that game is a 10+!!!

sure there are some bad things too on every system. Only 15 Stadiums(PC;X360;PS3),you cant edit the badges or some missing editoptions like in the games before on the pc or ps2(shoes cant edit anymore). Like i said before on the X360 and PS3 it is difficult to create the kits for the unlicenced teams or the faces of the fake players with an webcam but i can only say that i love that game and when i must choose between Fifa 2008(got it on the X360) and PES2008 i will choose PES2008 because of the awesome gameplay. Sure Fifa has all those licences but a good soccer game is a game with good gameplay not with all licences!!!

If you are the guy I'm thinking of, the guy who created the fantastic kits in previous PES and WE games, I'm going 100% with what you say, because as we say in England, you know your shit man. ;0)

Deejay, do you think it will be possible to edit the kits via option file at some point ? or do you think the amount of kits you can edit will be restricted ?

Yeah i think it will be possible to get an optionfile at some point but i dont know at the moment if we can make kits for all unlicenced teams and the webcam saves the images somewhere on the hdd that u took with ur webcam.

Here a quick try for the Arsenal Home Shirt using my ps3 webcam(looks not really kewl but for 2 min work okay):
