PES2008 PS3 Junka'z Hands on impression/ review pics+vids

Junka just answer one question m8 can you swap over to take control of a cpu team on the ps3 version in cup mode ect , i have been patient lol

but i can say that the WE/PES SHOP is realy gone:(
And yes its possible to save highligts from a match.
i played 2 great games today AS roma vs Florentina ( got pwned by Floretina)ofcourse play at top proffesional level.
the AI is realyg great,the passing the pace the rushes and shooting its great,and Aquilani is a awsome player im deffo gonna buy him for my ML team:)(if i have enouf $ then i wil buy Kaka ofcourse:))
second match with Juve made 2 great goals with trezeguet:)
Enjoying the game more and more(on PS3 ofcourse)

the pesshop gas gone......but you score points, winning tourments, making goals, its about points to can get old argentina, old brazil, etc.....

i saw this in other site.

Sorry but is that No to the NTSC/PAL option? If so, I assume it won't work in North America then? Can you confirm. Thanks.

I have the PS2 version and the PES SHOP is in this game, btw the PS2 version is amazing this year if you ask me :)

i just played the ps2 version of this game. more of the same.

playing next gen fifa08 opened my eyes... lets hope the next gen version of pes is better.

where did you find it?

i thougth i checked every corner of the menu...(ps3)

about the points for winning cups etc...how can you unlock the classic teams with those points? or will it be unlocked automatically?

it does not matter,if you have a HDTV then u can play all PS3 games and all the games are REGION FREE.
It does not matter anymore if its NTSC or PAL.

it works also with the ps2-eyetoy...(playstation camera is released this friday)

it's funny to import your own face. it isn't that bad at all
logo's is more difficult because of the colourdetection, but with good light it is do-able.
 
I can confirm that the middle east has PES2008 today. I live in Dubai and just bought it. Every shop is selling it- just bought mine from Virgin Megastore.

pretty fucked up that the pes-shop is gone.

now i have to play two/three seasons ML to get my all-star-team together.
there is no option to edit the ML-starting budget is there?

what good will an updated OF do to get you start the ML?

updated rosters and outfits will replace your current roster and outfits but not your ML-saving so you can still continue your saved ML, wright?

i used OF allways to get the pes-points to unlock the ml-budget-option but since that option is gone, there is no need to wait, am i wrong?
 
Will this lad ever check if you can move the joypad across in cup mode to take control of cpu teams.
I am getting sick of typing it lol.

Dude i'm not asking you to play through the ML
just check the options that are available before and in.
 
Just a few quick questions Junka ......


1. Is the sky a nice blue on the game ?

2. What colour are the corner flags ?

3. Can you see the valve on the some of the footballs if you look close ?

4a. How many of the fans in the stadiums have hats ?

4b. If so, what colour ? ( Very important ).

5. When you put it on 'Rainy' weather, does the rain look wet ?

On PS2 it is in the "Gallery" menu at bottom
 
Just played the PS2 version of PES2008
and it's practically the same as last years PES6.
Most of the new faces are pretty bad (except for Ronaldinho, Rooney and a couple of other stars).
The goalkeepers are really making the dumbest mistakes ever.
On the positive side I've finally scored some descent freekicks in this game.
Oh another thing I'm furious about is the fact
that you can't give your players special hairstyles!
pfff
I think I will pick out the best faces from this game and put them in my patched PES6 game.
