My guess is that he thinks it's brilliant (and that he gets penalties too).
I am fully aware that I sound like a dick here, but it's really hard to take someone seriously who's A) never had a problem with anything PES has ever done, ever, B) "doesn't see" the same problems that the vast majority have, and C) uses the phrase "sublime masterpiece" so often.
I mean:
How many people have complained about this? Let alone penalties etc...
Again, I'm aware I sound like a dick here. But it's stuff like this that holds the game back. That "timewarp" post I made above shows that some of the big gameplay issues people talk about now,
we were talking about last year.
I'd try the game for yourself - we all have wildly different opinions. But when guys like
@Deco and
@rockstrongo, who are always updating their ML stories in the ML thread and are real PES fans without ever being fanboys, have issues with the game - then I'd say that shows the general reception.
I still think the upcoming gameplay patch might improve things tenfold, though. There's no denying that the game is great on-the-ball, and I honestly think a few tweaks will improve it massively.
