Function over form. The pitch and the players are a big UI and I want clarity even if it comes at the expense of realism. I want borderline cartoony contrast levels for absolute clarity. I don't care how accurate it is (or isn't) or how much it looks (or doesn't look) like it does on tele. I want artistic license utilised so as it allows me to sit and play a game for hours with my eyes feeling relaxed and not having to strain. The pitch surface and contrast levels of the kits were perfect for me in the beta... day or night time setting. That won't be the case across all stadiums and lighting conditions, but so long as none are particularly objectionable or really uncomfortable to play in I don't care.

If it were up to me, every match in PES would look like a Spain 82 or Mexico 86 broadcast regards colour and contrast. I'd even have the sound and commentary the way it was back then, and even have that "transmitted from a foreign land" filter over everything.

Btw, I know NZ normally gets demo first, followed by Australia... does it come out 12am 30th August NZ and Australia time (2hours after NZ)... or is it released 30th US time???
I'm actually moving house on the 30/31 so the last thing I'm packing away is my ps4, modem and cat6 cable.. and a small pc monitor.. so I can dl the demo on the final day of available internet at the house I'm moving from.. itll take about 5 days to get an isp/net connection at my new house..so.. talk about cutting it fine.. hahahah these are truly anxious times.. and a pes2018 demo on the ps4 would truly make my day/move...

Hope its 12am...will use my nz account to get it 2hrs early. Absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this demo as im mainly an offline player n can finally try the game lag free unlike the beta version. Also can finally use my proffered camera setting unlike beta. Just wished the demo had free training mode... that would be grand...

I was able to change the camera in the beta. I paused the online match, went into the camera settings and scrolled through with greyed out settings and changed to my liking.

Online looks solid this year maybe try get me u and Lami for a clan session 3v3

it felt good in the beta, thats right. me myself, i need to compare it to offline gameplay. then i can judge how fluid it is compared to offline mode.
there is nothing but feeling it yourself. some users are more sensitive to lag and fps than others...

So, no Spanish stadiums (just Barca and Atletico) and no Marseille, Monaco, PSG, Ajax, Feyenoord, Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle, Porto, Benfica, Sporting, Juventus, Parma, Berlin etc...
 
I think its that stadium with capacity for 1M supporters that they announced. The one that has the champions league start as sealing.
 
And who didn't see the Champions League dream stadium in the TV intro back in the day and think "imagine that was a real stadium!"?

Bring it on I say. Will be a completely harmless addition.

appeared that way.. ie. when you pause and change camera in middle of game.. but when you enter back into game.. it reverts back to prevous angle... so no it didn't actually work :(

Interesting as it did for me throughout the entire beta trial. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure we will have the option to change cameras in multiplayer matches.

Yeah for sure, n full manual :) Also, I'm finally getting NBN internet (High end internet speeds in Australia) soonish, hopefully within next month of September, which should make online a bit smoother I'm hoping. Offline is where I'm at still, but yeah, I'm definitely keen to play with and against you guys, as its great to play like minded manual players, and be able to discuss this years game like only pes fans can... looking fwd to it ;)

Yeh I heard many saying it worked.. but from what ive gathered, it only could only be customised to a limited number of angles. I know I could change the height of the dynamic wide view... but when I tried my fav angles, eg. 6Zoom, 4 Height, 10 angle, it never worked, and reverted back to some other angle. Could never get the 10 angle to work... weird... anyways, Ill give it a go during the demo... thanks for letting me know your experience though ;)
 
the dramatic zoom as the penalty kick taker approaches to strike the ball is in the game this year, copied straight from fifa but its cool, i like it.

In Pes it's unrealistic because it happens way too often,while these kind of long range goals are rare in real matches.
