some good ones in it, but I don´t like that hardcore dribbling FIFAish style at all...

the game looks low res all over the place, from the pitch side and the goal nets etc, the players are all pixelated from the default cam, definitely needs a graphics overhaul someway.
Yeah the ability to do FIFAish dribbling. How about implementing "trick or special moves bar" like nitro in racing game.. you can't use it if it is exhausted. You'll use it carefully..
lets take this idea and implement it on the regular sprinting first! stamina isnt really a thing in PES yet... i want that!Yeah the ability to do FIFAish dribbling. Can we stop with the FIFA comparisons now, guys.
In other news. Had a few games of 2v2 couch co-op last night and they were all a nightmare. Someone posted (a while ago now - I think it was Northzzz but I won't tag him in-case I'm wrong ) that when your opponent spams 1-2s, especially around the box, you are powerless to do anything about it. When playing co-op, because of the extra lag that's introduced, it became 100x worse.
Defenders just wouldn't react in time to stop the constant 1-2s, with the AI pulling defenders around based on the previous second's ball location, and trying to play the game properly was impossible (when trying to hold the ball for a couple of seconds to look for a pass, we'd get pressured off the ball, and then off the opposition goes with the 1-2s).
Really horrible matches - the never-fails short range pass accuracy and the super-shots are starting to grate.
Genuinely love the game, though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the changes in the retail version.
True tbh. These skillers and showboaters never pull this stuff off on me haha. There are plenty of cans or just new players to pes on the beta right now only about 1 in every 5 games or more i get a decent challenge maybe. Wish they had skill levels for the beta its just no satiafaction in scoring/winning against the poor noobs.Anyway it's only works against noobs who don't know how to defend, or even not good on switching players, using super cancel for good positioning etc
Any news about the forced update of the game? I mean the lot of troubles opening steam platform also for offline players like as happened this year (screwed OF /Edit file ). Someone asked about that?
I've just had my keeper pass it straight to my opponent from a goal kick... Completely IGNORING my input. It turned out I lost 1-0.
F**kin' ridiculous. It's going to be another offline year for me if things don't change.
And don't get me wrong, it's going to be a HUGE game... I love the majority of the things I see in this beta.
Honestly it's the first time I see something like this in this beta... Ice recorded the footage and I'm uploading it to OneDrive at the moment... I'll post it as soon as I can edit the video (I've currently got my soon-to-be in-laws over for dinner).
My day's been HORRIBLE. Just consistently a good half second behind, the game often remembering button presses from before PES 2017 was released. Utterly horrific. It's not been choppy, or juddery as you'd associate with lag - just consistently behind what I want to do. I even notice it in the manual passing, where it passes in a direction even though I've since moved the stick. Fucks it all up for me.
Sometimes I'm not sure I've ever really had full access to what the dribbling can be tbh - it feels like I have a completely different system to those people who are really good at it, I just can't trust my players' timing at all over the past few days in particular.
I've just posted that it's down to scripting Romagnoli. . can you see now what I'm saying?
its so funny when peter drury says: point blank header, and the header goes to the corner flag, the commentary is laughable at best, or when he says: can he score on every shot he s gonna say can he score!!!! i have to turn the commentary really low from now on

It's not just scripting. There's definitely some but it's also how the game deals with your control input online. The reactions of your players are determined by your input, your player switching and your stick movements etc. As soon as there's a bit of lag, or a discrepancy between your connection and your opponent's, it all collapses like a house of cards.
It's so much more frustrating when you know you're playing a game that is usually great.
See, I think it does discriminate. Not intentionally, but I think it does get lopsided, the impact of lag. It may be that the scripting is what upsets the balance, or it may be that one connection is more the host than the guest (bearing in mind online matches are part server, part p2p), but the lag makes the imbalance or the sluggishness that comes with scripting feel more pronounced than it would be offline. Plus the human opponent who looks to capitalise on weaknesses, as opposed to a CPU AI just following the same routines.Romgnali I know lag is there but that will happen with both players . .it doesn't discriminate. ..you will be slower to the ball when scripting kicks in.
Thats caused by stats & the players body position. Contextuality, kid, contextualityI even notice it in the manual passing, where it passes in a direction even though I've since moved the stick. Fucks it all up for me.
