PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

Funny that people are comparing the nets with FK?? not really, even though I do get that ameplay is whats more important - Do I want better nets?? HELL YEAH!! Just makes the game much more realistic, and ofcourse really simulates the variety of shots (power / trajectory) that get in the goal. FK has had the best nets since this video came out (and please, FIFA15 ps4 doesn't do justice to net physics like someone here mentioned - ok the bottom rim moves..well how many goals do that in real life - but the net is pretty lifeless).

Anyways, Ive been playing FK for the last week and half, and for people to say this new pes2016 clip is not at that quality, id say that PES2016 clip without doubt has as good, if not better net physics than FK. Like FK there is a real sea of net movement (follow through) but key is the higher resolution, that FK doesn't have. Unlike some here, this did excite me, but also that weighty feel of the players, that for me is pretty evident in the clip.

Stop that konami and release the game more early.

Also Adam quoted in Twitter that replay was an E3 build, if that's the case if all goes well in a few weeks time we could be seeing an amazing game which we all have been waiting for.
 
I skipped PES 2015, did they still allow defender to move to goal post on set piece (free kicks)?

Will PES2016 still be like that?

I think it's the stupidest feature PES has ever had.

Funnily enough, people said that the nets looked awful as always in the E3 videos.

Why should they disallow it? It's a clear disadvantage since all opponent players are onside.
 
..the footage aint great yeh, but im just glad I see the improved nets :)
those who don't see it.. well, I guess you just have to wait for a better higher res clip :)

hahah :) those who don't see the better net physics in that clip have the eyes of the ref doing the Madrid v Man City game which is on right now...some of the things this guy has missed.. whoooa... shoulda gone to spec savers..

like most things in life, what you see is so subjective. My personal view is that the nets reflect the gameplay in 2015, a bit stiff and just a bit predictable. From what I have seen so far from E3 and this lataest clip, is that there is a feeling of a bit more freedom.

The nets definitely now move with the ball, whereas 2015 only showed impact on the part of the goal it hit. People are right, its not a game changer but it adds to the overall package IMO, gives me more of a reason to revell in my goals rather than skip the replay.

Whatever your bag, I can only see this years game being a more complete product with much better value for money.

There is a possibility that there could be several different E3 builds, cause the first game we saw from ign was terrible, but then the next videos were different again and much better, and by looking at the recent video, it looks even better again.. Will wait and see when Adam puts up the video of him playing against Neymar soon.
 
the nets look cute but I'm more concerned about the following :

1. defensive player switching (2015 is horrible at this)

2. online
a. button delay
b. team select screen after being paired with opponent rather than before
c. overall gamplay, anniation lag issues and slow response
d. camera select, please give us the old wide cam back for online!

3. improvement in passing (again 2015 is horrible compared to earlier
builds, 2011-13)

4. shooting and scoring, bring back that magical feeling of accomplishment with goals

EA should be ashamed of their efforts in comparison. I'd love someone to bring it up in an interview with one of the FIFA guys, the quality of PES's faces. Don't think that's ever happened has it?

Whatever EA are doing with their face-scanning equipment, they're doing it wrong.

I know its overall and not 2000+ new faces, but my doubt is how many more faces 2000+ is compared to what we have in PES2015, i have no idea of how many faces we have in 15.

@brunnoce83 @AsimTanvir hey! Hope you're well. A lot of the 2000+ are improvements a swell as additions, last year was 1200 before patches.

Sounds very promissing, gues we will be having around 500 new faces than, not to mention improvments.
