PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

Without being sacarstic, I think that the PES series, since its first installment on Ps3, should be devided as B.A (before Adam) and A.A (after Adam).

I do think that he know what makes PES a good PES and he is definetly having some good influencing on translating that to the PES Team in Japan.

Thank you Adam, the PES king and messiah, the saviour of PES series.

I doubt that Adam has any influence on the development of the game, but he does a good job at presenting and promoting the game.

Konami should pay more attention to online, and if Adam has any influence on developing PES then I am afraid online will not be a priority.
In the time Adam was still only at WENB he repeatedly replied my posts about online that he was more interested in offline modes, with Master League as his top-favorite. Maybe Adam has changed on that part, but if he thinks the same, then I fear online mode will not change a lot. That's why I am pessimistic about a Pro-Club-mode like in FIFA

Totally wrong.

He gives very usefull feedback to the Japanese developers.
Before he was there the development team in Japan was totally isolated from their European customers.

I know that John Murphywas supposed to do the same job, but that didn't work at all.

Since Adam Bhatti does that job, the game has dramatically improved.

Look at the difference between John Murp^hy's period and Adam Bhatti's and you know that he does have influence.

Personally, I know, as I've seen it first hand.

Ignore it all you want guys, but he isn't WENB's Admin any more. He works for Konami, and he works there for a reason, one that gerd specifically mentioned. So accept it and move on. No point arguing this much further really.

Product managers define the requirements of the product itself so I would imagine Adam has certainly enough influence on the development of the game

I'm so glad people here fans of Playstation 4 have all those details every single day, with no presure to wait for this game.
You have some videos showing the gameplay, graphics, menus and all that stuff. Konami should able to get the "BALLS" out and show us some respect to the PC fans.
I'm lost, sad and unhappy everyday.
And i can´t take it this anymore.
Please if you find some news for PC, please do your best to inform us.
What i see on those things konami show to me, is not the same quality i saw from my eyes.

Send that to Adam at Konami. He'll get his BALLS out for you.

Anybody else worried about this quote from Adam (who I definitely think has had a positive impact on PES, but this quote worries me)?

What we're [trying] to do is give the user the best experience. We're trying to create [a] highlight reel when you play rather than something that is more considered and takes too long to get into. We want you to have fun as soon as you play, smiling and scoring great goals.

The bold bits sound more like a description of FIFA to me, and not the reasons I play PES (midfield battles and more of a simulation of 90 minutes)...

Well, this is quite over the top. Everyone is a little unhappy/annoyed by what Konami did recently, but feeling lost and sad, dude, you're taking it way too seriously.

The perfect game will never exist, as "perfect" in this case is subjective, it rather means tailored exactly on one's expectations and it's something that can't be achieved as people have different opinions (so what's perfect for me would easily get you upset or vice-versa).

Let's just relax and see what the guys from Konami bring us. If I like it, I'll buy it. If not, I could still keep playing PES 2015 or jump ship again depending on how good FIFA is.

Only PlayStation 4 owners, for now at least, can import images for their kits. Though it could come to Xbox One eventually, Konami worked with Sony to prepare this announcement for E3. On their website you can create and download jerseys. Once completed you will have to put it on a flash drive to bring it on to your console.

Bhatti describes exactly why this is the case, "Xbox and Sony, they content ID lock everything. So even if you export one of your files to the USB and bring it to another console, people can't access those files unless they're signed into your account. We've gotten around this thanks to Sony's help. Once your're in the game in edit mode, we have an in game data management tool so it accesses the USB through the game. You can't just put the images onto your hard drive, you have to be in the game."
This sounds like it's not that easy to import images in the PS4 version.

@ Chris Davies.

I remember Seabass saying similar things and afterwards producing some absolutely abysmal (is that with one or two "l"'s?) games.
So i guess there is reason to worry.

On the other hand, it seems that Adam Bhatti had a very positive impact on the game, so why go a step backwards.
IMO PES 2015 proved that Adam knows very well what the core fans of PES want.

Just wait and see.

What does worry me (a tiny litle bit,i have other real worries than PES) is that the people around Adam Bhatti play exclusively ML (a good thing from a selfish point of view, because so do i), but seem to play exclusively with big teams like Man Utd, AC Milan, Juventus or Barcelona...
I am ap layer who plays with the likes of Palermo, Le Havre, Banfield, Crystal Palace...i'm a litle bit afraid that there will be less attention to those minions...

But once again, no use to speculate now..; we will only know when we have the Retail version of the game.

Un til then, i'm quite satisfied with PES 2015, the game has it flaws, but i still play it quite a lot.

Lots of questions about Real Madrid partnership deal. Don't worry, has no impact on #PES2016, all teams in La Liga still fully licensed
.

One of the biggest deal for hardcore sports fans no doubt, is the addition of dynamic weather.

"This is really cool," Bhatti starts off, "first time in any football game where you start off and its sunny and suddenly it will start raining. That will depend on the season, where you're playing, maybe in the UK it rains a bit more, right?"

It also sounds like the imported editing will only work online:
And there's no dealing with copyrighted image issues as only you can see your kit when you play online.

So for offline modes you need to do it the old fashion way...

Not true. That is referring to the fact that edited kits online can only be seen by you, not by your opponent, same as it was in past Pe because of some copyrighting issues.
