PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

The last PS4 update gave us what you needed to do option files. Trouble is there was no point on PS4 version this year as there wasnt enough slots in editing.

Release date is perfect. It needs to coincide with the first month of the football season. Last years was way too late.

Is it really pes 2016 ?

Looks hot as fu...

The turf looks nice, the colors palette so much better, and that little fog adds a great immersion

..am I the only guy happy about the manual celebration... I want this bad... the ability to run where I want an celebrate how I want.. really adds to the glory of a fantastic goal... yes yes yes.. things are looking good.

So maybe this year things will be different (for the better, of course) ?

As long as we can add via usb lots new kits, logos and etc, the only thing that I want from Konami when it comes to content is new stadiums, specially the return of some of the most famous ones like Bernabeu and Camp Nou.

so no rain in one half, rain in the other one. i dont complain, its simple solution, that was i meant by dynamic weather ages ago. how about snow?

Im feeling guys, this generation will be tottally different to the last one...

Edit: lol at your comment

I think is just an example that it will be dynamic weather. Its really dumb if one half is sunny and the second rainy as fuck.

Now let's hope they deliver.
And of course, let's hope they treat the PC version like the PS4 one (even if I don't know whether this will actually happen).
Or, at least, let's hope that PC version will be a leap forward from the already good PES 2015 PC.

according to the forecast icon, its cloudy then its stormy. i was serious i wouldnt mind this too. not really care about it too :D

A lot of what I've read sounds very promising and welcome, but there are 2 things that aren't mentioned; Fixed refs and injuries.

Probably fixing collisions would (hopefully) also fix these two things (as collisions being dealt with in a proper way would mean both better referees and a chance to have realistic injuries).

That rain is interesting. But I hope there will be a proper transition from sunny to rainy and not just one half this, the other half that.
Please don´t do this, that would be stupid...lol.

Screens look good though.

Exactly! Specially injuries!
Also I wanna have cutscenes, at least more than we had last year.

Like the earlier release date, just hope they are ready with the shorter dev time compared to last year.

Really hope there are more settings to make teams play a certain way, like in 2011.

Injuries and fouls are sorely needed. Probably wishful thinking, but a slider for both would be great.

Also really hope ML has been improved. Screen shot looked ok, but still a bit generic and safe looking.

A ton more stadia are needed, even if generic. Should be 100 at least. Being on the PC, really hoping the restrictions keeping the number of stadia lower have been removed.

well Adam said in may/april he hasnt dealt with PES 2015 in months now. so the 2016 developement must be started around december/januar
so where do you get the images guys?

There might ne things here and there that dont look too good or look a bit artifcial,
Bit we CAN'T say that they are not trying... That would ve very unfair.

So far, I am very pleased with what Im seeing...

Hopefully they thought about that, yes.
The most important thing anyway is that rain should have proper impact on how the match is played.

Exactly, if no physics are changed then the weather is merely a match skin.

I guess they didn't change too much after 2015 release, so they probably had enough time like you said. Sucked at the time, but I guess that is good now. :)

It may have been in another one of the linked previews, but this one says players will slip and fall in the rain.

I like the weather touch myself, but agree that I hope it works and makes sense. Sunny to partly sunny; cloudy to rain to cloudy, etc. I guess it could be sunny and then change and rain within a match's two hour-ish time window. We've all experienced that kind of weather in our lives, but it isn't as common. Anything dynamic is welcome, I guess. Should be standard in this day and age, but isn't, sadly.
