PES 2015 Discussion thread. PC

Gameplay isn't worst than next gen, its exactly the same. I've watched enough videos to see if you get all the settings correct in nvidea or ati, it runs smoothly just like the next gen game, there is no difference.

i wont use sweetfx until we get better patches.
Pls write your settings at the technical issues thread! There are already some suggestions.

Alright. Then I have to try it another time ;)

Did you change anything in the settings or somewhere else to improve your online experience? I use the standard port 5739 and the firewall is not blocking anything.

Don't get my previous comment wrong. I play pes since years and pes 2015 is way better than 2014 (also looks great with sweetfx), but the connection has disappointed me more than once the last years and I just hoped something would change this year

Maybe you just had the wrong opponents?
But...I know a user which has just a 3 M/bit connection and it runs completely smooth for him, too. But I don't know which ports PES 2015 is using.

Did you try this page?
http://www.konami.jp/we/online/2015/?tg=de&pf=pc&pg=tool (german)
http://www.konami.jp/we/online/2015/?tg=gb&pf=pc&pg=tool (english)

Maybe this will help. Did you have lags in PES 2014?

hey,

How do I know if I got input lag or if it's just the gameplay ?

I tried to disable V-SYNC but nothing from the game, only through my GPU GUI, which actually doesn't work (AMD CAtaclyst shit).

I added the exe, made the profile etc but it doesnt trigger at all...

Catalyst is pure crap. If you have ATI card, try your luck with RadeonPro.

+1.

RadeonPro is the only responsible of PES6 being still playable on my PC (Windows 8.1 and AMD card here). All the other softwares either provided tearing or provided stuttering.

Konami has early announced Stadium Editor in their videos, but i can not find any STADIUM EDITOR. Was it a lie again?
As far as I remember they dnevcer said you would actually be able to build new stadia from scratch, though.
Tricky on their part, but true: a stadium editor (which lets you only edit items but not create new ones) is there indeed.

Input lag has nothing to do with V-Sync. It's a common misconception going on this forum for a while. V-Sync is a feature which disables screen tearing by matching the in-game FPS with your monitor hertz(screen refresh rate per second). PES 2015 runs in a threaded environment so Input Processor is on 1 thread whilst other game logic is another thread. There are some input delay which was deliberate in pes 2015 to compensate dribbling and reverse engineers can remove that delay. If you receive a major delay, your cpu cores could be parked. Trust me, I am a programmer. :)

Edit: Don't say that input delay has to do something with FPS. Input is processed in a threaded-environment which get's called 10 times atleast every second depending on the speed of your CPU. The only thing that matters with FPS is how it renders and goes from 1 frame to another and how the game logic updates aka changing animation, etc.

It is pity...Does it mean we would not have any new stadiums at all for a whole year?! Or will patchmakers find a soluton to create and put new stadium in the game?

What's your solution to remove input delay then ?

Modders should take care of this as quite a few additional stadia were added to PES 2014. Hopefully there won't be a ridiculously small limit on how many can be added to the game as usually it's the case that a mod stadium can only replace an existing one in the game already. We need one of those stadium server type thingies.

I'm 100% sure its the same as the PS4 version in gameplay, only difference is performance isn't optimized so it may not play as smoothly unless you play around with Nvidea or ATI settings.

I've played about 15 games now and the gameplay looks and plays the exact same way as the PS4 videos i've watched and i've seen maybe 100 Ps4 PES 2015 matches.

There is no difference at all.

Thanks man want to clear that up. not sure what some people going on about different gameplay. from what i have seen from Youtube videos it looks the same.

Verdict: Pes on Pc is a very bad game. Its a PES 2014, with better manual passing, better player movements on pitch, better keepers and more spectacular (but fake) shooting.
AND MUCH MORE WORSE TURFS, lighting, and animations.
All PES 2014 problems (input lag, awareness, collisions) are there!
SCORE: 5/10

Would love to have a try on the PC demo since it´s weekend now and I´d have plenty of time to test that thing.

Not a single statement from KONAMI, not on twitter, quite nowhere!

These guys seem to utterly fail in anything else but gameplay!

1. I´ve noticed that in the PS3 demo as well and way too often. Looks really stupid. This defo has to be patched ASAP!

2. Is that really noticeable while playing the game? Some animations don´t look too good in replays.

3. I´m used to that since PES 2014 :P

4. Okay, fuck online gaming then...

Well, you know what to do.
I do. :PIRATE:
But then they'll come here crying about "how piracy killed PES for PC" next year around. This is probably the thing they are the best at. :LMAO:

It's like a dog biting its own tail really.
The more they mistreat PC people, tle less PC people are willing to give them money. The less money they receive from PC sales, the worse they treat the PC version the following year.

Then you might have stumbled over the end game :)

Ive also noticed shorts physics are less prominent than in pes2014, especially when player is throwing in .. shorts flapped more in 2014 :) Physics seem more tight than loose.

The awareness and animation issues again could be down to the pc settings your using, do you have v-sync or or framerate lock?

I was having big awareness issues till i sorted the v-sync out. It used to be insanely bad on PES 2013 till i put v-sync on, it's less noticeable in 2014 and 2015 but it makes a difference.

Even if you don't like the game, it should feel absolutely nothing like pes 2014.

Maybe, but then it would be easier for Konami just to cancel the PC version rather than neglecting it in the hope that numbers fall enough to justify pulling the plug.

I've often said that I believe Konami should focus purely on the PlayStation platform. I don't get the impression they care about anything else. By most accounts, the XBone version of 2015 looks quite poor (720p) and as we know, it's not because that console can't run PES at 1080p. Far from it.

Your argument would have some validity if it wasn't for the fact that the console demos were released two months ago. No excuse for not getting a PC demo out by release day.

I fully expected not to see a demo yesterday. Konami is the most incompetent gaming company with few rivals for this accolade.

They are in their own league when it comes to incompetence they are a joke, its a wonder how this company sunk to this level of shit

Hey guys new to the forum. Been trying all different settings to minimize the input lag. At first I thought the game was shit was about to give up playing, the game looked smooth 60fps but passing and reactions was way to slow. then I switched tripple buffer as someone mentioned earlier and seemed to solve the issue for the input lag felt way way better now enjoying the game but cannot get rid of the micro stutter without the input lag comming back. Using latest nvidia drivers, 970gtx, 3930k. Any one know if earlier drivers work better or have any suggestions.

anyone help me plz??? :(
