actually you don't have to download the whole game from steam. install the game from the disk to the steamapps directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common) and run the game from steam. steam will recognise the game file and game will run. and of course you can play steam game while offline.;)

I tried to play online, it's a bit stressful there is a small delay in the controls and sometimes lags.


I love the game even if the graphics field is not the best, but when you play you do not notice because it looks like a real football game
 
The impression I get from new videos is that the lighting and pitch become very shitty looking when in rain conditions, but normal sunny day seems much richer ... anyone see the same? Shadows cast on pitch for rain at night are non existent almost, seems that rain weather isn't very well implemented for this at all.

So, its true then that no matter what format you purchase ALL tether to steam? Right?

If so, I will be holding off paying for this for much longer than I planned, just waiting endlessly for the bloody demo now then. AS someone pointed out, technically launch day is today so demo could come out within 24hr period of today and its still justified by Konami. I guess the delay is to get those pre orders and full purchases in without adding "distraction" to demo waiters.

BIG QUESTION: INTRO CUT SCENES <<< ARE THEY IN CERTAIN COMPETITIONS OR ARE THEY MISSING EVERYWHERE ???

It uses Direct X 9.0C (which is XP) .. but dont go purchasing yet, wait for demo to test it fully thats what I did for 2014, pretty sure it will work unless install decides not to but that would be all.

@Ale ... 24 hours in a day mate, they wont put it out right at the start thats for sure. Remember stating release "day" doesnt mean you will see it the very start for just a demo.
 
Konami hace been very naive to think the routes they have gone down this year willl combat piracy and 'hacking'. If anything they have simply scared the legitimate PC players away.

If everything works well with Steam, including modding, I have no problem with the way things are done. They just need to be more transparent about it. Ive bought Fifa through Origin for the last few years and each year it is painless.

This is where I sit back and wait for now, probably 2-3 weeks, because modding is the only thing that will save this at the moment for me.

That doesn't sound good :(

I really can't understand why they took out things like intro scenes. I mean WTF?! Every game since ever got that.

BTW The consoles got that day one patch. I assume Konami just ignores that for PC. Am I right? It's absolutely ridicoulous to see a screen with Vidic in a ManUdt kit. That was one of the first transfers in the fucking window!

Ok :). Thought it because nobody said something about it and i cant play till evening. What concerns me the most is online gameplay. Hope to get more impressions from you guys through the day, because if that's as bad as ever I might rethink buying. Then I have to stay with nba 2k for this year :(
 
PES 2015 PC FULL IMPRESSIONS:

The BAD:

-Very shitty, washed out and yellowish turfs.
-Worse lighting than PES 2014
-Mediocre response, but nothing close to FIFA 15
-Awareness problems (players let the ball go pass them)
-Collision problems
-Choppy animations
-Simple ball physics
-The more you play, the more resembles PES 2014.
-Unpolished and cheap feeling

THE GOOD

-Very good team development on pitch
-Constant runs from teammates
-Sweaty goals
-Tactical game, with a lot of passing
-No run and gun goals like fifa 15
-Better inertia
-Good goalkeepers
-Pass set to 0 bar help is extremely manual, more than FIFA 15.
-Edit mode like old PES
-Arcadish, but spectacular shooting.
-Better pitch and crowd sounds.

OVERALL VERDICT:

A very mediocre game, with bad visuals.
It is border-acceptable and in techology terms miles away from FIFA 15, but that is not to mean thas is worse than FIFA 15.

And thats an issue? :) Nearly all sports game companies need to watch 2K and take some lessons :)

Can someone please upload a PC HD video that shows all weather conditions side by side please? :PRAY:

as it's seems I can't save any editing i'm doing inside the EXE , konami really don't want us to change any core mechanic or upgrade the graphics in this game.

Well that will be a red card for them :FAIL: not for modders, if this starts to ring true the appeal to purchase this "thing" for me will slip further away by the day. ITs yourself and Jenkeys that are the only humans on earth that I am watching like a hawk to save this "thing" we have now, no pressure :CW:

Hope you do find some solutions, but please let people know very early on if this is dead in the water to edit, save someone a purchase :)

I would never argue with that. nba 2k15 is incredible and also Top Spin 4 was absoluetly great. But it's not football and I really want to play a football game

thats wired but after 5 games on pc final ive enjoyd the ps3 demo much more, passing feels different and i miss some animations ive noticed in the ps3 demo, hope that is placebo but now that not what ive expected :(

-no cutscenes on PC
-same old graphic settings
-it feels to much pes 2014 and not like a new game (like ps4 and ps3 demo)

as a pc user with a high end gaming PC - pes2015 is in terms of graphic dissapointing.
