Agree with you! There is no reason to create such players.. Logic says.. we need faces of players that will see more often in cut scenes (more likely forwards who score most goals in a football match) and talented players that most people will use in ML.
They created faces from Avraam Papadopoulos, 1year injured!
Tzavellas and Vyntra.. both of them dont have more than 10 matches played. LOL!

620 is severely underpowered even if PES 2014 is badly optimized. Replay and cutscenes are always need more GPU memory since the level of details are different than from gameplay perspective. My machine could render the cutscenes on acceptable frame rate but dip on replay. Same stuff with FIFA, just not as severe as PES.

Right, 4GB is common these days, since we usually multitask.. But 8GB is awesome for alt+tab between game and other stuff :SMUG:
 
Not all of the faces are created from scratch. They're still using the older games as reference. If the the player have real faces in previous title, high chance they're in the list. This is always the case since ages ago. Probably to save more time.

Another one is national team. Fully licensed national team seems to have custom faces for the whole squad. Though i'm not sure if it still the case this year.

One thing for sure, 1000 faces aren't enough with the growing roster. Especially for Asia and South America team.

I thought there he must be wrong (he wasn't) because my game at -2 was playing fast than what it should have been at +2. The ai pressure was relentless and all of the problems I listed before. then I thought drivers, but before I revo uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them I thought I would start another game to make sure I wasn't imagining it. yesterday when I tried to start PES with the 1.04 original I got an error message saying the game would not start without some missing .dll, I pressed ok and the game started, didn't think much about it.this time when I started the game, same message and an alert from my antivirus. Ran a full scan with malwarebytes and found some .PUPs and a VirTool.Obfuscator. cleaned restarted, started PES. Back into masterleague to play Crystal Palace with the Ronaldo like chamack( from the previous game 3-3). It was like a different game. Speed at a normal pace no cheating or over powered players. Game not perfect but the virus must have been what was causing the horribleness before

The thing I dont understand is the players in the masterleague that come good, why they dont have faces. The player I mean are like a player that starts off at about 75, after 3-4 years of the masterleage no matter how many time you start a new league this player comes good. this means obviously Konami have set his potential to come good and think he could be a future superstar, yet they don't give him a face. an example would be giroud at Montpelier a few pesses ago. they obviously seen he was going to be good but still didn't give him a face

I find 0 fine actually, I don't think the gamespeed has been affected by the patch. I have played -1 too but didn't quite like it.

The end to end stuff I think is also dependent on the team tactics. Hop over to Klashman tactics thread and read it. For example if you set a team's tactic of shifting to attack to less than 5, together with distance of players to each other (forgot that tactic name) less than 5, you will see the AI passing short passes and building up play much more.

I also downloaded the game from Gaming Dragons and if i remember correctly, they're not supported by Konami, and i can't remember what i did last time to get the first patch. I'm useless. :FAIL:

I'm sorry to hear you have such choppy cutscenes and replays but I don't have either, the lowest FPS I got was 47 and that was only for a moment before it goes above 50 and hovers between 55-60 with 60 the most common. my double vsync on radeonpro is always on if that is of any help to you. By the way, I only have 4GB of ram and an i3 2100 cpu...fraps and chrome are the only other programs running.

Most of those are scored from just behind the goal area (~20 yards) out. That is close range. Even normal person, can hit ball hard enough to beat GK. Tested in real life with friends who NEVER play football. 22-25 yards out is slightly further out, but in PES 2014 still the ball will be hit hard enough for it to reach goal. There is no problem with shooting from specific range. Up to 25-26 yards out, shoots will be powerful enough. Here I find no problem.

However, try shooting from OUTSIDE that range. For example being half way after kick off line. That's 30-40 yards out. Sure, if I am honest, I can see maybe 6-8 goals like that scored in WHOLE football season all around the World, but it DOES happen.

If you fill FULL power bar from 40 yards out with Lampard/Gerard (players who really can hit ball hard in real life), the ball... Won't even reach the goal. It will just fall down in the area. Try it and post videos.

It was a virus that was affecting the game. Fifa was also playing weird and was choppy until I cleaned PC. Both games are back to normal now. Agree with you about klashmans tactics they do improve the game. When ya think about it if Konami got on these board's and hired some of the modders their game would improve 10 fold

That doesn't mean he can't shoot long range shots with the right technique. I haven't done intensive testing as having this kind of situations doesn't come easy on Top Player. I only had this rare opportunity because the AC milan player made a poor back pass and Iniesta was at the right place and the right time. If it was Gerrad, Rooney or Arguero in the similar situation, would have they struck the shot similarly and perhaps even on target?

A long ranger card probably increases the accuracy? And if it is AI controlled it could also mean the AI uses him to take long range shots more often. Kicking power is 77, yes that might be a factor but the way Iniesta runs up to this shot (as you said got good room and position) it would make sense that a top player like him would be able to generate enough power.

the thing here is that that there is no shot technique stat. We only have finishing and shot power, how shot technique is written in this game I'm not sure, might even be a hidden stat or by player cards like "fox in the box", "poacher" and etc might be a combination of ball control,finishing and shot power.

Can anyone confirm if the defense line issue has been fixed? I'm talking about the AI defenders' inability to hold shape and their tendency to break their own offside trap by tracking attackers all the way to six yard line?

In PES 13 you can help this by turning on the auto-offside option and also setting all defense awareness to 2. But this last one is not in 14. This is actually the main reason I've gone back to PES 13.

glad it all worked out, strange thing to hear a virus affecting a game though, thought it normally affects OSes.

well at least we can edit the tactics, just wished there is a tool where we can edit them faster :)

It has been hexedited so that it would show up as 1.04 version.
And that would make you able to download the 2.0 datapack.
However, no gameplay changes or the new features in the edit mode.

Hmmm...it is strange..I first have updated from the original KONAMI EXE 1.04...then used this crack...if I go to my pc Control Panel says that it is PES 1.02 (so I think the game is actually up to date)...Gamplay changings are so hard to spot on...lacking of fouls is still there (refree never whistles as before) long range shoots are useless...now I begin to have some doubts...:CONFUSE:

It's NoDVD 1.01 reneamed to 1.04 in game
