PC PES 2014 discussion thread

players on blue and purple for reasons never explained. I know blue and purple mean players are in bad form what I mean is the randomness on top of that now we have heart which also seems broken. 80% of my players are are constantly on blue, purple. Even if a player scores a hatrick next match he's purple and even though he get 7's to 7.5's any time he plays his heart indicator is bleeping blue. add to this no cards for cpu tackles but yellow for any slide tackle, even sometimes for a standing tackle by my players. you'd have to get shot to be awarded a penalty. I like the game, when it plays well its fun but there's so many small stupid things in it that stop it from being enjoyable. I play a couple of matches, alls well. I come up against a lower team in masterleague so I want to rest some of my better players to give the reserves a chance. I cant because the're blue or purple. then when a big match comes my top players are blue and purple, I struggle on. but for the past two games my 4 strikers and 3 or my central defenders are blue and purple. I got players with no heart on orange arrows and players full of heart on blue arrows. All my players a bipolar

Yes, I don't like that too, player movement and turns at normal speed look and feel weird, especially when you turn in a circle.

It's like many several turns/animations when you do this, very awkward and unnatural.
 
My mate and i just tried shooting in this "masterpiece" in training with horrible results, HECK we couldnt even score to JANUZAJ outside the box with Ronaldo, so we had enough!!!


GUYs lets get rid of the annoying SUPER GOAKEEPER, go to edit mode and pick Arsenal:

- v1 decrease GOALKEEPING ability of VIVIANO by 50%
- v2 decrease SAVING ability of FABIANSKI by 50%
- v3 decrease both SAVING & GOALKEEPING ability of SZCESNY by 50%
(i know the minimum is 40 pts but its ok)

Go to training, set the Arsenal as the opponnent with 6 players and the difficulty to PROFESSIONAL, see wich GK works out well.

I got pretty fine results with one of them :) much more diversive outcomes regarding savings and goals!

Please test it, even in exhibitions, league games, whatever, see what happens!


I know this isnt the real solution but this way we can add real advice to KONAMI. Not just "better/too good goalkeepers" like feedback :SMUG:

according to what i've read on pesedit forums, it seems that there is not going to be "no dvd" for 1.04 patch.
 
I just wanted to write my first impressions after playing maybe 15 games vs CPU and Online.

-The graphics engine is actually really good. Things look really good close up. With the correct patches and user-made faces this is gonna be hands down the best looking football game so far.
-The gameplay is fun for me, and it is a fresh breath of air after years in FIFA. It doesn't feel like a counter-attack frenzy.
-Generally, the gameplay feels more difficult than FIFA. It's much harder to pass around the ball and pull of one-twos. In FIFA, this is almost automatic and you can do a nonstop chain of one-two's and triangles. In PES, partially because I'm still new at it, I'm having trouble linking up more than 3-4 passes in a crowded midfield, which I think is more realistic. It's a challenge to even pull off one give-and-go in a tight defence, which seems more appropriate.
-At the same time, this can get a bit frustrating. I don't if it's my lack of skills, but I feel like my players are slower than the defense in picking up passes, moving towards the ball, getting good positioning.
-No LOD settings seriously blows my mind. This is unexcusable.
-It is a damn challenge to find someone online. I usually have to wait a few minutes before I can find someone.
-50% of matches are on poor connection.
-Commentary is not good. I was expecting this, but hoping to be surprised. I think FIFA, at this point, has much better commentary. Into 5 games, and already I've heard '1-0 can be shaky, 2-0 is a comfortable lead' over and over again.
-Menus should be much more stylish. I don't get FIFA or PES on this. Their menus look freakin ugly.

I still haven't patched my game, I'm waiting for DLC2.0 compatible patches to be released. And, I'm also waiting for a LOD Mixer, I hope someone comes through on this. And in the meanwhile if I get better at the game, I will be thoroughly satisfied with the game.
 
Sorry for what is a question that's been answered before but how do you install the pack without losing your previous data of teams ?
 
Can someone release a LOD for the sake of God?

I want to start modding my game, but when I think about the kit selection screen and the crappy models there I'm disheartened.

Any news on a LOD development?
 
So I played a match last night and IMO this is a good game not complete but still a good game. I do see players individuality and yes I did jump out of my seat when my Honduran Najar scored a screamer after beating three men. With the help of Jenkey and friends by January this will be a very good game. But I have to admit it is annoying we have to wait until then.
 
Maybe off topic, but I want ask YAIR for answer. It is possible to take shooting and other things from 1.04 patch and input them in another exe or patch like latest 0.5 from you? Yair this game desperately needs you. I play the game with your patch and it`s a different game from the original gameplay. the only problem with the patch is that opposition AI play through wings in every attacking action. YAIR we respect your decision to move away from PES becouse you are pissed off and we are too! but please think once again :)

I wonder also if it's Yair would fix the bug's goal-coverage L1 + Square, which is unfortunate for a game that aims to be the best!

I really lost any interest in pes and unless they release another patch that fix the all problems and I don't see why to work on this broken game... but due to many request I investigate that and I will see what I can do for you guys .

Yair I believe more in you to correct errors in PES than konami own. When I played the last update not believed, because the bugs were all there, poorly written scripts. Unbelievable for the game that was to be the best in history, became one of the worst PES! Yair I believe more in you to correct errors than PES konami own. When I played the last update not believed, because the bus were all there, poorly written scripts. Unbelievable for the game that was to be the best in history, became one of the worst PES! Since the last update I have played FIFA 14, which is not simulation that saying goes (well thought arcade) but is better than PES2014.

Obs.:Heard information from a Brazilian blog that has access to official information from Konami, that day 10 \ 12 Data Pack 3 comes out, but that no adjustments will be made in gameplay! deception

I understand you, is only a game of football, but for those who like football it's cool to have fun with virtual football. But it seems that these companies can make more difficult, how to spoil things that seem simple!
 
I've just bitten the bullet and got 2014. I've only played 5 games so far and I'm probably going to take some flak for this but I really like this game so far - REALLY like it.

Ok, it's not perfect but in my opinion, it's a big step in the right direction. I'd not touched 2013 since February but then I started playing it again a few weeks ago and quite enjoyed it after discovering one of Nesa's later patches. That said, it was still the cheat riddled, badly scripted game that I threw down in frustration many months ago. I'd resisted getting 2014 after the comments I read on here but when I gave the demo a go, it really got me hooked.

There's obviously some things that need fixing in 2014 - I'm playing on 1.01 at the moment - but I can honestly say that I don't have any problems with shooting or shot power like others have mentioned. As someone said previously, if your player is lined up properly and in the correct position to shoot, you'll get a good shot away but if not, it will be scuffed or skyed. Thankfully, gone are the days of being able to magically get a good shot on target whilst facing away from the goal.

Minor gameplay niggles aside, I'm loving it and it does now play like a true sim. I think this is the best PES I've ever played and win, lose or draw it has never failed to put a smile on my face for the five games I've played so far and long may that continue. Looking forward to hitting the editing forum this weekend when I get a bit of time for some much needed tweeks and tarting up. :))
 
Guys, PES 2014 is not that bad, has actually great gameplay and it is much much better than Fifa´s gameplay, that actually feels dated, I purchased Fifa and did not like it all, but in order to enjoy PES 2014, dribbling is needed almost 100% with PES 2013 and previous years, if you did not dribble, we STILL were able to play and feel fine.

The good news is that dribbling is actually very easy with PES 2014.

Here is the method:

I personally prefer using "Auto Feint On":

Auto-feint is clever, but gives you less control of exactly what skill move you're using and it also makes it impossible to pull off some of the skill moves that aren't included in auto-feint.

I don`t want to spam. I just want to say thanks ;) of course that there are many genious people and we as community respect their work becouse pes without you guys is just an unfinished game!
