Hi what is the responsiveness fix you mention.

I find playing it on the default 0 speed and having passing set to 1 bar is perfect and fixes a lot of the lag issues.

That's running the game on 1920x1080 resolution on a 42" TV with everything maxed out and sweet fx added. My rig is quad core but the only lag i get is on replays but thats the same for everyone.

Only issue i have is awareness and the keepers are a bit suspect at times also shooting is a bit floaty but hopefully these will be ironed out in the next patch.

Other than that pes 14 is the best football game to date. Thats not nostalgia talking but i used to play every pro evo as well as the winning eleven imports and even the MLS back in the glory days of the ps2. but as soon as the series hit next gen they were shite and i jumped to Fifa but now i am back to the series that started my love with the beautiful game.

Aaaah i was hoping it would make online more responsive but that would be considered a hack as could give an unfair advantage over the opposing player.

sorry, ML has a totally frustrating gameplay.
exhibition mode is a completely different game
ML I lose all my games so stupid, defenses do not react, do not react GK

1.01 is mine and Competition games are much harder than Exhibition ones. That's a given.

Don't know about ML, because I won't start it without 1.02 patch and faces DLC.
 
I´m playing ML and some matches are harder then others. Also, it depends on the form of the oponent team. I had all types of results against the same team already. Sometimes I dominate possession but draw, other times I can´t even blink and they crush me, sometimes I win, etc. Lots of variety wich I think its great.

Whats your pes id. Im looking for committed players so would be nice to build some friends as such who share the pes passion.
 
I'm on 1.01 and I think the ML is great (only thing I don't like is the transfersystem).
On PES2013 I won every game on every difficulty, sometimes I got results like 8:0 or something like this.
On PES2014, the form and the heart is really cool and the games got more realism I think.
Even if I'm in front with 2:0, I know its still possible to get a draw or loose.
If they hold their words and fix known issues, PES2014 would be near than perfect (for me). :)

mate, ML is poor
game exhibition mode is totally different,ML I lost my first match 5-0, ridiculous defense , GK does not help much
same teams, same stadium exhibition mode, superstar, fantastic game

I will try 1.01

tried something today, out of interest..
disabled all tools, only using d3d_antilag for render ahead 1 so no vsync and no triple buff.
started game, see no difference regarding tearing, same result as with d3doverrider vsync, with radeon pro vsync.. so it looks like game is not supporting vsync?! it just slows down the game, therefore no need to triple buff. too

response was so good, i think too good
torino free training, bianchi turns same as cerci.. come on..
unrealistic :SHOCK:

on field all smooth, just the stands a bit tearing or some sort of jaggies and shimmering, some sort of bf3 kind of look
right now i think the engine is not supporting anything, no real aa no vsync, gets worse not better with it

now i will play on -1 speed and try that out, this or i need to force vsync again to get rid of this fifa'esque speed turning

ok -1 no vsync suxx, no vsync 0 speed suxx also, vsync 0 is good and no triple buff.(makes it kind of choppy)

I think there is not only players speed( same for every player ) problem. I noticed similar issue with ball control .I decided to set the same running animation(nr.1) for Terry ,Cahil ,Hazard, Mata and it turned out that every players holding ball at his feet in same way while they are running. I remember oldgen pes and difference between Zidane and Ferdinand was huge but now ? Seems there is no individuality at all :( thats awfull .

Sorry mate, I´m one of those old fashioned guys, online for me it´s not a choice. I really never consider it, even most people might say I´m loosing great stuff. It´s quite a question of available time and also the frustration on trying to find serious players these days. But mainly because of schedule issues.

About the transfer system, I find it that Konamy changed that s*&% of 1% signing probability. Now you can sign pretty much anyone but you´ll need way more money then before. It´s not perfect, but it´s better then before.
 
I have found some sort of solution about broken headers on 0-pass support. I use the through ball button to head it towards goal. You just have to tap it slightly in the direction of the goal. Sometimes goal, sometimes miss. It feels good but you can't get like a powerfull header, only finesse like headers.
 
Jenkey's performance patch seems to have cleared up many of the obvious issues with the game. Fouls are being called more often, and shots from distance are easier to perform. Replays still have unacceptable framerates though. I'm still experiencing some minor control response issues, but the patch helps significantly.
 
not for everyone though
i had more performance probs and fps drops with it, slightly better response
maybe to do with LOD, i will wait until he puts LOD sliders into the program for easy LOD use

and on 0 pass bar, passes are so weak!
need to load up for ages until a strong pass comes out

yes i agree, but i wanna ask, how much to reduce gamespeed in the tool? i feel the game is faster now after the jenkey tool.

I'm more than happy, manual controls will be fixed! I can then switch back to lovely manual shooting :) Manual shooting is so good in this game. Sad news is that we have to wait till November :O
 
can anyone confirm that after jenkeys gameplay tool, there is too much battle in the midfield, players hitting each other many times, i'm playing on top player, i feel the game is even harder now, the opposition attacks and closes space better than before.

ML playing, the game behaves in a very aggressive and do everything possible to score, I always start a goal down. Same game, same teams, same stadium as exhibition is a delight ..

the game has many bugs that are a gamebraker

can not make feints, the game is a ridiculous ping-pong
can not make a leisurely game is running like an idiot all the time
at least in pes 2013 we could cover the ball and create game here everything is very sensitive at the first touch of the ball we draw
thank god I have not wasted my money on this, pes 2013 1vs1, this game is better

In PES 2014 you can cover the ball and make feints. You just have to relearn how to do it, since it's very different from 2013. For example, to make sharp turns (to protect the ball) you now have to use the RB/R1 button. The game is not perfect (maybe far from that), but most of the problems raised up in this thread don't exist. People just didn't take the time to (re)learn how to play – and they are in their right.

bro opponents hassle you off the ball like nothing, and no foul given, u never feel sure of your player when he has the ball, u never know when someone is just gonna hassle him the ball and go towards goal directly, after jenkeys latest tool, too much ping pong happening in the midfield, the game is more responsive but it's unrealistic how the opponent catches u as soon as u get the ball, ur being hassled with no foul, the same thing as in pes 2013.it's like the player have no physique to protect the ball well enough.lastly, the catch up bug is totally unrealistic, espagnol defender catched pedro while i was running towards goal i clearly pressed the sprint 2 times and still i was caught up by the defender, totally unrealistic.

i wanna say thanks for jenkey for the more responsive gameplay, but on the other hand the game is showing more bugs now, making them more obvious...
 
KONAMI tells via Bhatti that they work on some issues, so just wait for the next patch and judge then. :)
