PC PES 2014 discussion thread

I´m getting quite happy at Superstar latelly. Game doesn´t feel so unbalanced as in previous versions, but still harder. Anyway, it keeps me really satisfied and until now I still haven´t seen more bugs. Game has quite the same behaviour as in Professional or Top Player. Still need to try it longer though.

Best graphics compromise between night and day matches. At least for my Laptop. Didn´t try it in my TV yet.

bro i'm having too many problems with the goalkeepers, they are absolutely awful when it comes to close range inside the area shots ,many shots are slow and easy but no the keeper can't save it ,it goes beside his hands i can't believe what i'm seeing!!!, u find that he can't save it, i was gonna break the pc today since pinto saved a header but the animation let it hit his chest and then his feet and go in for the most stupid goals scored against me in this game.
2-many times playing on top player, the opponent hassle me from behind and he takes the ball like a peace of cake, this isnt realistic, with no foul given!!!!i'm getting so mad when these things keep happening!!!!!
 
as much as i love this game in the middle of the park, midfield battles, player movement etc..it is ruined as soon as you get in the area with goalkeepers either flapping, palming it into their own nets or even more recently actually ducking out of the way of a shot straight down the middle (it was a goal for my team but i got no joy as the keeper was awful)

On top of that manual shooting is ruined.

I will definitely pick it up again once the 2nd patch is released providing the issues are addressed.


Anyone planning on trying the new Winning Eleven? That's due out this week, maybe its more polished

only problem with keepers for me is when bad crosses go into the 5 meter area and i like to take the keeper out a bit and not go for the ball with the defender, they act very bad in these situations
sometimes not come out and stand in the middle of nowhere and striker comes to the ball and scores..
 
here is exactly what i mean just happened 20 mins ago..ignore the captions on the vid as im tired and need to be up for work at half 5 so messed up :)

basically ball is deflected in the air off my defender, the ball is travelling away from goal at slow speed..attacker performs some kind of super header producing power from a ball travelling slowly the opposite way from him..i can live with that as its going right at my keeper...until the ball travels in between his and and through his face..complete rubbish when this happens

download d3doverrider tool, enable vsync and triple buffering(disable both anywhere else)
if ATI card load d3d_antilag tool put those 2 files in pes main directory, if nvidia go to driver settings and set render ahead to 1

so far best results, and i tried a lot and have experience with this for years(sadly, lol)

Guys i recently tried the demo of PES 2014 on PS3 and it was like a small shock to me how much more responsive in terms of button presses was the game there.

Also i noticed that the passing and the using of the R stick had a better quality outcomes on the PS3. I am wondering if there is somethink wrong with my PC gamepad which is a ds3 with motionjoy driver (i use xbox emulator settings on PC).

Has anyone noticed the differences? I mean for me was very very obvious. The advanced through balls were far more usable on the PS3 demo. Also the movement of the players seemed a little faster. The difference i see seems kinda weird to me.

I don´t think you have a problem there. I noticed the same thing when i tried the ps3 demo. It is indeed much more responsive. Sadly...
 
There is something strange. I realized that every player has the same speed. I checked it at training and no metter if we play Terry , Vidic Skrtel or Messi , Nani, Valencia. Anyone takes distance from box to box in 12 secound .I have tried this many times with a stopwatch in my hand and the result is the same :( So now doesnt matter you choose Xavi or Messi to your squad. Another joke from Konami .
I dont mind if there is catchup bug but this one is gamebreaker. This is way how they wanted to balance attack and deffence ? :(

 
I have 2 ps3 controllers & 2 non ps3 controllers. I never had a problem by playing PES 2011- PES 2013 up to now.When I play a tournament/cup (offline) with four players against the com, the first game is always fine playing with all four on one side, after the first game one of the four players are automaticly assigned to the com side and there is nothing you can do.Please fix this,this make this game not fun anymore,i have no problems when I play a 2 multiplayer cup game.Please update a patch!!! Please people try & recommend! Thanks...

Sounds good, hope the patch will be released soon, so we can see if KONAMI just talk or really do something.

the catchup bug is still there, and yes it's wierd that all players speed seem alike, it's wrong i don't feel that messi is that different from for example van persie or benzema..thx konami..
 
For some reason I can't play this game with my Radeon graphics. Whenever I use the Switchable graphics to use to High Performance graphics the game just goes slow motion. But when say to use the normal Intel, it is at least playable at very low seetings. While with PES 2013 it was playing in all it HD glory with my 2GB dedicated + 3 shared Radeon

That's crazy. Really, individualism seems to have been thrown out of the window this year. I think shooting ability is the only thing which stands out.
 
The running thing is true, I have noticed this before, but I thought it was due to wrong stats... every single day, more and more gameplay issues are popping out.
