Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

This may have been answered elsewhere, but is anyone releasing an OF for the PC? I ask because I'd like to start an ML campaign sooner rather than later, and because something I've always done in PES is change my kit each season. Kind of lends it a progressive feel. I used to get myself better sponsors with higher levels of success, that sort of thing, and my replays could track 10 years of kits and how the team changes, etc. Not a big deal, but the edit is so useful these days that it can probably do most of the important fundamental jobs of a patch anyway.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

I don't think it will happen. The two planned DLC stadia will be our lot. I know Adam already answered a question on Twitter asking if any Brazilian stadia are planned (no).

There is no excuse not to put the generics back in. The modders are saying that stadium building for PES2014 won't differ dramatically from PES2013 so I'm not sure what Konami's excuse is?

Also I don't seriously believe they lost the licences to use the Stadio Olimpico, Stade Louis II, Dragao and Alvelade.

Are they not talking with Sporting Clube about this ? I too find it rather odd.

I think the bottom line is they underestimated the time needed for the whole process and prioritized the gameplay.

Next year, yes next year will see a return to all of the content we normally expect.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

What's the relevance of those last two pics?

Barcelona lonely hearts club.....Join Sevilla instead.....:P

I think he has modified the faces although I cannot see much of a difference.

Truth be told most of the faces they have done are pretty decent and it will be the lesser mortals who will need faces once the DLC gets going.

I do hope Konami don't rush these faces they are planning. Make sure you get them right before sending them to us.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Would be nice if Konami release a list of players they intend to create faces for, just so the modders know which ones not to waste time on.

I know that request can be filed under 'never going to happen'.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Played two online games. First one with lower teams, great experience. Second game played against an idiot and he did the rainbow flick the whole game with 100% accuracy!!! WTF! This is what I was afraid of.

Another thing which needs fixing :/

It's amazing how Konami put so much effort into creating a football simulation yet let the most arcadey, unrealistic skill moves slip through the net.

Yes this would be nice but konami... maybe adam could get a list?

Tell me about it. They put it in before, people complained, they fixed it and now it found it's way back in. Should I cry or laugh? :CONFUSE:

I recall it was the same in pes 2013, double click right stick and Rainbow! But can't tell if it was 100% accuracy like pes 2014 since i played it while ogo.
Speaking about feints i still prefer old school pes style, feints were easy to pull of but needed practice and timing to make real use of them.

I did a nice one with the keeper followed by a perfect diving header before the ball could hit the floor.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Have the servers stabilised yet? There were literally 3 people in the English lobby earlier.

Also I think those SweetFX pictures look pretty naff. Subtle colourways are more realistic then amped up vibrance. Thats more FIFA's bag.

Yea, unfortunately they are too easy to pull off right now. :/

3? There were around 60 people 5 minutes ago.

It's not just me then. For the most part the SweetFX screenshots look over-saturated and unnatural. I've not felt the need to use it as I'm quite happy with the way PES looks on my TV.

Calibrate the display properly and PES looks fine.

Much lag? It was horrendous last night.

PES generally gets the colours and lighting right. PES 2010 especially was gorgeous. FIFA looks relatively cartoony in comparison, big bold primary colours everywhere.

No, not really. But I've experienced lag against some over the last 2-3 days.

Anyone know another method or program to force v-sync and activate jumping frames for nvidia? I set the control panel and used D3DOverrider but no difference whether or not use.

It depends entirely on the settings. It's customizable. The saturation levels in his are way too high for my liking, but to each his own. I use a few different ones, but I've been using settings by FDB (on this forum) the majority of the time. Gives the game a bit of a blue tint found in La Liga matches and what not. I'ts very striking.

I personally find it to be a major improvement over the vanilla look.

I hate these bloody Fifa Street moves in football games. When do you see them in real matches? Most of the time all you see is stepovers, ball rolls and body feints. You certainly don't see players pirouetting through 360 degrees every five minutes or flicking the ball up in the air all the time.

Re: PES 2014 discussion thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

See, this is beginning to annoy me more and more about Konami right now. Putting aside the 'NG' version of Fifa, EA have been releasing exactly the same game on PC/PS3 and 360 for three years now - including the ability to assign chants to different events and teams. Why are Konami now treating us as second class citizens?

I'm not going to defend EA about the Ignite on PC issue, but as we speak, the PC version of Fifa is generally identical to the CG consoles' version.

I think we have bigger problems with the game than chants my friend! Such as...GAMEPLAY!

Agreed, leave that to FIFA imo.
