Does control shot work on manual shooting? Every time I shoot, I blaze it over the bar. It doesn't seem as if you can control the power. I've tried in training mode for a while and just tapped it in the box puts it over.

Also have they updated the game in some way? I'm 99.9% sure that in online lobby matches support settings were duplicated between users based on the hosts setting. Since I've put mine on full-manual, I'm certain that other players are playing with some assisted settings. It definitely seems different to mine, both because of accuracy and the power being generated on passes. They might have mastered it but I don't think so to be honest. It doesn't look full support but it doesn't look like manual.

Questions, questions.

Edit: Sorry to complain further but just had another match. It felt like the other guy had basic through balls on rather than advanced. They were effectively playing over the top (which I found to be easy to exploit when I used basic) and getting a striker to get the instant on-rails run rather than having to move him over to the loose ball. Either something is up or I'm having a bad time.

Absolutely, but we should still voice our displeasure that a very good feature has been left out of our version of the game. Why should the consoles have that ability and not the PC?

No answer for this? I'm getting this 1-2 second lag as well. It happens at 1920x1080 and 2560x1080 resolution.

Played a few games online again tonight, seemingly better, just down to people's connections.

Still no idea how i've went undefeated at this game online besides that game against bitter, which doesn't really count ;)

I downloaded a patch and now I have more licences. I do wish Jenkey returned to make patches because his patches were the best :)

We should try again , see if it has settled

Generally better for me although I tested with my friend from Norway, I am uk and it was unplayable. Completely freezing with 1 bar connectivity and even disconnected us with a network error

Our games are playable on FIFA, which says allot to me.

I play my friend from the USA on FIFA, we have some great games, we both bought pes on the PC In hope we can enjoy some more games, unfortunately that looks like it won't work.

Looking at the online menu system, structure! format and the lack of options and features. This net code has not been developed since 2006.

They have so many areas to improve on with the game I cannot see the investment being made into online coding, if they have not done it yet especially when they are competing with expensive licences with FIFA

Say what you want about FIFA, yes games play on pes14 is superior, but overall package there is no comparison

The roster updates you get pretty instantly on FIFA, I expect we will wait for months and then still miss some out?

Such a shame really buy I wish some wealthy tycoon would invest in this franchise, I really don't know if it is lack of funding, resources with konami, but I am finding this unacceptable

Then add into the mix , this twitter person who gets very defensive when he replied to people and as if it is a privilege that said person is replied to and references made to the times of the replies.

There is never really any factual responses, he is just there to deal with the shit storm, he must see the issues so no wonder he is acting bitter with all the passion/hatred from fans.

Such a shame really, I can't see how 11v11 is going to be a success

The mode will be very basic and will not expand as quick as it needs to
It will be unplayable on this net code, unless a patch for that is coming with it
It won't work well with various regional connections, if 1v1 can't, it will throw it all out of sync

What I don't get is, you cannot even see people's connection before joining a game! let me see how shit the connection is before playing please.

won the CL yesterday with barca, playing on professional, i feel it's too easy for me, i was winning 2-0 3-1 scores, won 1-0 vs chelsea in the final though, gonna try top player today in ML.

How come pes edit patch is banned in this forum even though it is hands down the best mod for this game and there is no alternative here? I found out about the patch in another forum which is sad. Come on EVO Web

I think the issue with online is that there is no dedicated servers yet. 11v11 will have it I think else what is the point on a beta?

I swear it does seem that there is only 5 people working on the game

What am I doing wrong with keepers?

Instead of holding triangle to run him out, it tees up a through ball for the defender running back?! Crazy. Is there an extra button to hold this year or something?

Also, what's with the player select? It rarely goes to the nearest man, and it's a real chore to change.

I have used a " patch" for this game which is great and offers all the kits and fluff. I have my PC copy from shopto. I patched it and it worked fine for a few days. Then when i booted it up i get the rdl.dll dynamic library message, i had to keep pasting it over to the main folder. Then the installer is now saying i don't have the correct permissions to use it. WTF? I haven't a glue what's going on can someone help and old fool out?

We've had our reasons back in February 11. And it's not going to change as long as their main guy is still in charge. Which he is.

I'm sorry it had to come to this, especially in times like these where everyone's craving for some serious modding of their newborn. Please support them on their site, they're doing great work. It just didn't work out between us.

If you do mirrors they get pantsy asses.

PESEdit 0.1 is not that good. Missing transfers and such (they also use RELOADED exe - which I would rather not use, thank you:P).

PES edit is better then vanilla version with no kits at all.
