Downloaded RP now, but the exe file named RadeonPro Preview - What means that?!
I took it from the officially page...

Is it possible to set Sweetfx in RadeonPro self or need a file from the net?
I don't wanna download a file, I wanna create my own settings and test them. :)

Anyway, if I wanna use ur txt file, I must just copy it into the PES2014 folder, where the exe is (when RadeonPro is installed)? ^^

If you want to check other setts, it is a huge database with txt.files. It is mainly for specific game, all files are differently set up but it works for PES as well, so get the best version for yourself from there :)

yh but sadly they still waiting for the patch to make online content available.Despite the patch version says 1.01 still no online menus for the download.

So I did some specific tests regarding input lag, and there really is a very real difference between the PC version and the 360 demo. With the 360 demo, when you press the pass button to make a quick dink, the powerbar instantly shows up the moment you press the button. On the PC version, the powerbar starts filling up after your thumb has left the button, so a ~200 millisecond delay or so. Doesn't sound like alot, but this is crucial in making the game responsive with some players. On the 360, Iniesta with the ball can do some very quick things, and you can draw a player in and press pass at the last second for him to almost instantly dink it past the opponent. The delay in the PC version makes the difference in missing or making those passes.

Tried the D3DOverrider, but the delay is not changed. I'll try another controller (using 360 wired now) and report back, though I doubt the controller is the cause.


EDIT: Nope, Logitech controller, still the delay. God this is crap.

I don't feel any delay, but maybe for me it's normal, so I dunno.
But I have a delay when I switch between players (just a few few few milliseconds), it's okay for me, but dunno if it is a prob.

I guess we might have different things we compare to. Do you have a PS3 or Xbox that you played the demo on perhaps?

Got a PS3, but don't played the demo there (I only use the PS3 as a BlueRay-Player :D).

For me there is no button delay, it's just unresponsive when in tight situations. I don't want to be able to turn on a dime as it's unrealistic but it's currently ponderous when using R2. Maybe I need to get used to the new sprint technique in order to get away from players.

The other thing thats driving me crazy is when you send a player on a run only for the passer to through ball it to a player not even on the screen! What's that about! If they fix a few issues it could be a monster of a game.

guys plz you are turning us off with these details of milliseconds and through balls, i'm fed up with people either saying the gameplay is good, and another one saying through ball is bugged etc....!!!

Not at all what we intend, but the discussion here will be diverse and cover different things. :)

As for the input lag, the Settings screen controller image responds almost immediately when pressing various buttons, so the lag I am experiencing is not a native lag from controller to PC, so to speak. I thought I noticed slight improvement when going from High to Low details.


Edit: Using "Low" detail settings for the game also completely solves the lag in Game Plan. Smooth as silk, and when checking player stats you can very quickly toggle between the different stat pages with absolute responsiveness. Using High settings for me has much more sluggish scrolling there (For example, checking someones Shot Power stat, which is on page 3/4, on High I would quickly press RB 3 times, only to find that one of the button presses was ignored due to the slow response in the menu).

I think the beauty of having the game on PC is to share info so we can find out whether the problems are with the game or the rig. The intention is not to put anyone off, quite the opposite.

Well put. Keep in mind that we get another patch in a few weeks, which is guaranteed since they add important online functionality. After that who knows when patches arrive and how frequently.

I did the same test also.. Got the demo on Xbox 360.. It's definitely more playable and responsive on the xbox compare to PC

I have a PC rather old, however, works fantastic game, 60 fps constant, repetitions some lag.

I think I'm the only one who thinks that 1.01 has worsened the game, sorry too fast

pes always has these rublings in the beginning. then the game gets patched, the modders unite, and all is good.

I think the modders will need to do a good job with this, at the moment I think PES 2013 is the better game, it looks stunning but doesn't play near that level unfortunetly.

I think FIFA is - and always was - the game for you all along.

You got banned from the EA forums and have tried to turn to PES as some kind of protest. Don't fool yourself any more, PES isn't for you.

I notice the input lag a lot more when vsync is turned on, I usually do this if the game doesn't include the option(sigh KONAMI).

If you use RadeonPro(AMD card), create a profile for PES2014.exe and then go to the tweaks tab, select Dynamic in the Vsync Control options. Much better response times.

There's a similar function on Nvidia, it's called Adaptive Vsync. Should help in response times. :)
