• Update: The issue surrounding 2FA logins using the Google Authenticator should be resolved now. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. /Tom
  • We've been getting a growing number of reports from users being unable to log into their accounts using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with the Google Authenticator, putting them into an error loop. Rest assured we're trying to fix this asap. Thanks for your patience! /Tom

PC PES 2014 discussion thread

Usually PC version is cheaper than consoles, dunno why, but i like it that way :P

That's cause game developers don't have to pay a cut neither to Sony, nor to Microsoft to release a game on PC. It is called licensing fee.

Strange, can't see it on Steam to pre-order though.

Yep, no pre-order for steam, it will just be available for purchase on the day of release.

anderson, do you mean that they give you an iso with the install files on it?

I guess I don't understand how the cd-keys work. Once you have the key, where do you download the game from? Hopefully not a stupid question. :COAT:

Guys do you have any link where I could purchase Digital Download version?

Enzo, others have said that gamesplanet will have it a day or two before release. I have used that the past couple of years, as they do not have the PC version in the US (sad). I am keeping an eye on their site, as I am sure others are too. :)

The activation code we send you is for the retail version of the game. It is for use with the game installer. You will need the game installation files to activate our key with. You can use our key with any retail game disc or download of PES 2014.

They will not provide a download link.

They only sell the keys, so no, if you're looking for that.

I think the original purpose of these sites is to buy a key when you buy an used game or borrow it from a friend.

But, and without going into it too much because it's a bit of a grey area, software links/torrents aren't considered illegal if you have your own license to run it. (technically, they're never illegal under that same principle, eg. the same applies to music and movies if you own the original).

Does steam region lock via IP? I'm fearing I might have to set up a new account to download from the UK as the US might not get any love from Konami.

Thanks for the explanation, now I understand! :)

personally as pc user, I am outraged.
many things happened and every day I am disappointed more
ps3 demo released by mistake, users playing
official demo, ps3 and xbox360, all users happy
in South America are selling the full game

and pc users??

I can't be bothered to get outraged any more. PC gamers are often treated as second class citizens but we get the last laugh with first class games.

Only a week to go, gents.

anyway, does not seem fair that console users are already playing the full game
from here to one week, with all that has happened, pc version for duty must be the best version, more polished, no bugs, and various graphics configurations.

Does anyone fancy online co-op come release? It's a bit niche, but I've always enjoyed playing against the CPU with another person (2v2 against people is fun as well).
