PES 2014 Discussion Thread

I'm looking to download the EU version of PES that comes out Friday on PSN. Could I possibly create a EU PSN account (I live in Canada), and purchase the game without breaking any infringements? Because to my understanding, during the creation of my account, I need to provide a real address. Or does that not matter, as long as my credit card details are my own.

I have made an US account, live in the Netherlands, and used Google HQ's address. Don't know about the credit card, but it's easy to buy EU psn cards online.

Hope this helps!

That sort of helps lol. But does anyone know the price that it be on UK PSN?

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

don't think it's up for pre-order so We'll just have to find out. No doubt it will be higher than retail, those online prices are messed up.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

sorry are you saying you are joking or its a joke as in poor? if this is real is it final code? anyone else experiencing this? I have seen a couple of videos that worried me due to it looking easy to get in on goal but wasnt sure of the level

no im not joking, sometimes the game looks fine, defence is tight but sometimes there is a Pes2013-12-11 syndrome where no one gives an F about the ball in the box

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

And i still cant head balls from crosses..

When i press Y i head it...but that shouldn't be right?

Weird i have no problem with that at all... i just preload the power and release the button before the ball gets to the players head.
Scoring a very fair amount of header goals.

True, i get those moments too.. conceded a goal to Goias today that my defenders just didnt bother doing anything.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Jesus Christ, doesn't the Training mode cover this?

This game's controls can be alien sometimes. The double X tap is hard to apply sucessively when you need to and, sometimes, taping it so much creates an amalgamation of passes that you didn't want to do in the first place.

Hope all this shit is covered in Training mode.

PS: I had no trouble heading in the demo. You britches need to learn how to play :P

Mate relax...I've been playing PES all my life:SMUG:
Plus I,m playing on full manual.. give me some time..

I have the full version and the game is something else! It took me a while to adapt to the controls even though I played the demo. It all comes down to patience... good timing for tackles, contain, learning to dribble and be organized on the pitch. The thing I like the most so far is that you don't feel cheated against the COM as much compared to previous PES titles. Really great efforts from Konami this year.

That's what I'm planning on doing.

You will need to buy a Euro or UK PSN card or cards online.

I'm just hoping that it actually does go up on PSN on Friday. You never know with Konami.

Yeah, I've been doing some research on buying UK/EU PSN cards and it looks like we would be paying around $70 CAN and probably US, which i would rather not do.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

easier than Professional and top player, terrible defensive responsiveness, its very easy to just play through balls and score. It's unfinished.

Which do you find it better at the moment? I'm loving it on Top Player.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Interesting, im actually playing Professional... enjoying it too, not planning on moving. I was on a winning streak and thought about it but just lost 2 in a row and lost 1st place of the league :(

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

That's not the point.

The point is that, if you invest in a proper gaming PC, you get a proper media center too. It serves as a multi-purpose platform, something you don't get out of consoles.

Besides, the longevity of a PC is way bigger than the longevity of a console. I think that, once you get around to build a PC, not only will you see a great benefit in the graphical department, you'll see better framerates and resolutions and, overall, you'll enjoy playing the game the way it was developed rather than playing a dumbed down version of it.

Overall, investing on a PC is never a bad deal. You can't justify having a proper gaming PC because you own a console and you think that investing in a gaming PC exclusively for PES is not worth it. Tell you what, PES isn't the only thing it runs :P

Invest in a gaming PC. The problems with drivers you see are the exception to the rule, owning a PC is like owning a console, only much more versatile.

Stop thinking a PC is only for gaming and then you'll see the PC's worth.

Don't spend a penny on a PS4. Spend it on a PC.

PS: I was a console gamer up until 3 years ago. Consoles were the shit. Got a proper PC, never looked back.

Consoles are peasant now lol

well said mate. could not have said it any better.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

NO PC TALK PLEASE. LET'S FOCUS ON THE CONSOLE VERSION PLEASE.

:OOOH:

PS3 Option File for this year, will it matter if you're on BLUS or BLES version of PES 2014?

Just like last year, all PS3 option file will work on any version of PES 2013 (Region 1 - 6) i believe.

I'm referring to the demo 2 which is similar to the full game.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Your goddamn right.

I don't speak out of my arse xD

Well, maybe sometimes...

Yes, we all agree, PC is better for PES and other games. Every man and his dog seems to be on the internet right now telling everyone to get PC.

I can't justify a PC to play PES at that cost though. I don't want to have to keep spending to upgrade it for other games, and I already have a media centre. I also want to play PES online against my mates, which needs my console for that.

It'd be nice to have a high-res PES2014 but the game's not worth £500.

Re: PES 2014 Discussion Thread (NO PIRACY TALK, YOU WILL GET BANNED!)

Anyways, does anyone know if PES still uses PNG files for kits? It's a major factor in whether I get the PS3 or 360 version.

Credit card needs to have the same billing address that's on your PSN account, which won't be the case for you if you create an EU account from Canada. So you'll need to buy a EU psn card to purchase games from the EU account you create.
