Question for the ones with the retail copy: I know the blimp camera is not in this game (used to looove it so konami removed it). But with the custom camera settings, are we able to get closer to the blimp camera angle (height and zoomed out)?

This is the way we have had to do it since they removed Community Mode. Konami Cup, League Structure, 4 Human Players in one Group, with a Home and Away or Single Match option.

The only problem is that you need four human players, three doesn't work, and five is too many.

It's a fix, but not ideal.

No not PC. Shop I go to only sells console games.

EDIT: People complaining about the game being dumbed down and less fluid, just put it on -1 and it feels like the demos again. That's my finding so far. I might be wrong so just try it.

No, bro.
I love the new Camera Modifier addition, but I thought we would be able to zoom out further away. It's like there isn't much difference between 7 and 10. Or 5 and 7.

PC gamers will probably be more lucky about this.

Hey mate,
Blimp camera is IN the game.

I noticed it last night when Bitter was streaming the full game. Some didn't notice it because you have to scroll down the camera options list in order to find it.

My review of the UK demo:

Pros:

- Awesome gameplay. Great balance between attack and defence.
- Superb animations. Just loving them. With the perfect player models, animations look amazing.
- Bloody addictive. You want to keep playing.
- Pace of the game is perfect. Sudden spurts of tempo is so life like.
- The variety in playing style and goal scoring - proper pro evo
- AI can play a great game of football - not one dimensional
- The midfield battles are back thanks to the ball holding animations and passing in tight spaces

Cons:

- Gameplan screens are very slow. Substitutions take ages.
- Should have had an option for totally switching off replays
- When you score, the whole pitch goes empty for a micro-second and everything comes back
- When you cross with the ball slightly ahead of you, it turns into an ugly slide + cross
- The set piece marker help is unwelcome. Hope we can turn it off in retail.

I hear that the retail version is slightly stiffer and that would be so welcome too because I thought the demo was a bit too fluid and little tightening up would make the game play more robust.

Overall, I'm convinced that PES 2014 is the best football game ever.

Wow! If this is true, it's brilliant news. And I hope this time all camera options are available for online too. Last year, blimp wasn't available for online.

According to a controls tutorial thing I read, you can also do a low header by pressing triangle too. Haven't tried it yet but it's interesting.

I'm a bit confused by the weight shifting thing with the right stick, it doesn't really seem to do anything but perform a trick. Anyone have any ideas?

It's a funny bug this. In the first leaked demo manual shooting was damn near perfect. Got a little wonky in the 2nd demo. Now it seems its broken... How did it progressively get worse.

I can't believe that there is much if any, difference between demo 2 and retail. Konami just wouldn't have had time to implement changes.

Hopefully your abillity to type limitation.;) Only joking mate. Right for me it will be the WE version i will buy as i think it's better than the US/UK versions. Anybody with full game notice how dirty kits get during games?

The code of a game is always in flux, that's why I didn't bother to play the demos this year, as last year I would just play a code that would be quite different by release. And the day1 patch will again change the landscape.

So I'm glad that I'm going on vacation for a few weeks and return buy the full game and get a patch with it fixing most of the early kinks.

guys i got a chance 1 meter away from the goal with the goalkeeper on the ground and nothing between the goal and torres, I shot and he missed!!
