Weird! I'll have to test it out tomorrow and pay attention to the actual input and their results. I switch shoot with lob and RT with RB (or R2 with R1) as well. The only combinations I can think of would be: Press Y immediately after shooting, wait until the meter fills up, or press Y right when you strike it? I assumed you tried all of these.

Saw Trance asking about the replays a few pages back and I don't think it was answered.

So, no they're still in slow motion and I can't figure out any way of speeding them up. Ive tried double button presses and holding the sticks at different angles, messed with the cameras... Oddly you can sometimes get a split second of full speed on certain cameras but that's it. I'm guessing the game struggles to run them at full speed once you tilt the camera around and catch the stadium and fans in view.
We should at least have the option to run and full speed on the wide camera though :(


The points about through balls being too easy etc.
We noticed last night that most of the teams in the game play really high up the field. Like almost with the defence at the halfway line. So when the takeaway arrived we took turns fixing teams, dragging the sliders back down. Then we made sure to set up man marking and the others bits...
I can't say it fixed the issue because we haven't played enough games to notice. But we did instantly feel the difference with not so many offsides happening and it being more difficult to get into the box before a defender or two come towards you.

We're all crap at the game though still so that doesn't help. On 2013 we did fine on the high difficulty settings. Here we can't go above professional. We lose more games vs the ai than we win and once we go behind the lesser rated teams become horrible to play against as they pass it around the back and hoof it forward catching you out as you charge forwards. You've got to play patiently.

Our party is Sunday so I'll see what others think then who haven't played the full game and won't be aware of changes we've made etc.

Floaty shots even in game release. Seriously konami. They Shld just go out of business. It's obvious the floaty shots is to ensure lower scorelines.

I'm not a fan either but it's better than using pen and paper and u also can compare stats too which is good. Wish they had community still in the game make things even easier. That's konami for u bro.

Someone needs to ask Adam about this. League mode should offer custom leagues too.

Unless you are on "advanced shooting", triangle should work. It's not easy to always get it right, you have to time it very late almost after you strike the ball. On advanced shooting you need to hold the stick back away from goal. You probably know all this already, but I had to write it anyway!

Agree man...still remember when i saw that option back in WE8-Asia Championship...it was like heaven, the hole thing about keeping track of my stats against my friends and all, really cool stuff for us offline players. Now its all about online :(

Seriously there are somethings that konami took out of the game that i just cant undersntand(like kit mix or low socks before pes14). What can we do? Hey maybe next year :(

Look at @Tunizizou video. The pace, animation look smooth and spot on. Obviously they both ram up the conditioning to all red, so some player look slightly OP/

Y luego te salen los dos grupos y equipos repartidos no calzan... entonces simplemente le haces click encima y lo mueves al primer grupo

Como puedes ver hay solución pero porque justo en tu caso son 4 amigos... como pasa con mi grupo que somos 4 y podemos solucionarlo... pero si fueran 6 o 7 amigos ya habría problemas...

Bueno espero te sirva la solución... también sirve para el PES 2013... en que se hacía lo mismo...

From what i gather we can make a custom league with up to 4 friends since ull be able to force u all in the same group(group+knockout structure)...

Loving the UK demo. This is exactly what I wanted and I got it. Can't wait for the final game.

The balance between attack, midfield and defence is perfect in this game if you know how to play. The so-called catch up bug is nothing but the phase where you haven't quite figured out how to dribble or how to get past your man. The game makes it possible for you to beat defenders with slight and clever tilt of the left thumbsticks even without pace. Once you learn that you would want the defenders to match up the attackers, otherwise it would be a goal fest. All other things being equal, players without the ball will run faster than when they are with the ball. I think Konami nailed it in this game. Hope they don't change this of day one patch.

Shooting feels definitely better for me in retail.

Regarding the overall feeling compared to the demos.... I'll need to play more..

EDIT: The game feels faster I think. The demos "feel" I found to be on -1.
