Happy with the game so far with some input lag and cursor switching problem.

And the gfx on ps3 is worse, than I expected. good on widecam, but on close up and the crowd it looks like an imressionist painting and with terrible lag.

Is it really so bad on xbox as well?

Consideing getting it on pc..

Totally desagree..... atleast for me(And on a PS3)... PES looks amazing, as for FIFA.... hmmmm... not that much..... I'm really "disapointed"(And I had small expetations) with the FIFA demo!

The rumor is that Italy have the perfect possession formation for AI on Top Player difficulty. Possession percentages being reported are 57-60% every match for AI Italy.

it ..is...damn fast compared to the leaked demo :O its too much a little bit for me right now, the slow paced midfield battle was amazing in the leaked demo
gotta go with -1 or -2 in the final version...btw i can out run anyone even with Osman if he is in a good position for a through ball -.-"

You used a picture zoomed out on PES. Its the LOD, not the "low-res textures". Get your facts right.

Hell, if your going of that process, the FIFA kits are also in your worlds "low-res textures".

Few questions for those that have played a bunch:

- Is something broken with headers, particularly attacking? I've chested goals, and had the ball just hit my attacker while trying to head the ball. Occassionally same happens in defence. Like the player just doesn't respond.

- Has anyone managed a first time shot? I just had a ball trickle out towards my midfielder, perfect for a one time rocket, hit shoot miles ahead of the ball reaching him, and he still took a touch, ruining all momentum before unleashing a soft shot. I tried a few more times do 'one time' actions, and it seems like the players always take an extra touch.

- There's definitely some kind of ketchup going on. I find that I get my winger ahead of the full back, only to have the defender to the whole 'clawing at jersey' animation just enough to make my winger stumble, or stop him managing the cross animation. Feels very cheap.

- Is there a 'first touch' button you should use when receiving the ball in pressure? All of my attackers have the first touch of a rapist in the final third, often bobbling the ball all the way back into midfield instead of making a nice touch.

Other than that I like it. Response is a bit slow relative to FIFA, but I'll learn. Passing is great.

I've also used a picture zoomed out of Fifa and still looks better. Don't get so offensive on me tho.. im a PES fan, not a Fifa fan. I was just stating facts.

Definitely something off. I play with United and have freed Valencia down the right on countless occassions, only to have him caught - sometimes by a midfielder.

There's this animation where the full back uses his hands to kind of pull back on the attacker - never given as a foul - and it basically locks you out when you're trying to cross.

Wouldn't be that bothered if it didn't look so clear a foul, but I've yet to see it given as such. I can't work out how to do it on defence either :(

how the feck do you dribble?

one of the quintessential pes features was being able to do the opposition with just the analog stick. The touches are far too small this year to beat players, I can burn a defender for pace but cannot bamboozle them this way then that.

You can do it too, it's done with Right Stick into direction of the player.
You can use it defensively and while attacking.

While attacking using right stick towards the direction of the player running behind you can push it away
While defending with RS towards the direction of the player you can try to stop him with your shoulder bardge

This was my observation/complaint as well. I've had varying success with throttling the sprint button (which I believe is what the training instructed you to do) That's always been a factor, but it seems necessary in 2014. If anyone has played FIFA it's as if you're always in, "Precision Dribbling" mode. In past PES games you could just use the defender's momentum against them in order to make a bit of space with the LS. Still holds true, but as you said it seems the touches aren't big enough when using purely the LS. I still haven't gotten used to it yet. :COAT:

Van Persie chip. I absolutely love the touch/turn of pace into space. Contrary to what a lot of people (mainly on Twitter) are saying, it is possible for your forwards to break free. Chips feel so much better this year. A bit like FIFA.

It is very very hard. CPU defenders can stick a leg in at any angle and from a greater distance than previous games.

On another note, here is a great example of the improvement to keeper response and low saves. De Gea gets the faintest of fingertips on the ball and ruins my comeback. The rat bastard! :RANT:
