Hah well my last comment came across like a Humble Brag but I was being genuine. No I don't use manual, so maybe thats why? I use 1 bar and getting in behind the defence was a breeze. It's a consequence of the attacking AI runs being exceptional, and poor tracking by the defensive AI not being up to scratch. Also found it very easy to fend off challenges without doing much, even using someone like Kagawa.

Overall, it's no doubt a solid game, however aside from the aesthetic I don't feel like its a million miles away from PES 2013. Positionally the games are very similar, and that underpins how it replicates football.

It'll still be a top, top game if online is delievered fairly. But I don't think it's much of a revolution, which isn't a terrible thing as PES 2013 was a very good game IMO. The sense of weight and ball physics were phenomenal though.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS!

- This game is hard. Dribbling really is the key in this game, doing the training in training mode really helps show this feature off. You have so much control from simply dribbling. At one point i was controlling Villa, and danced around 2 defenders and had a breakaway, sadly i hit the post. But with dribbling playing such a huge part in this game, i feel like those who master this skill, will be the winners. Dribbling with players like Messi will be a dream.

-Shooting, feels much like WE9LE to me. You can definitely feel the 'weight' of the ball when its kicked.

- Camera, it somewhat 'lags' behind the play. For example i was on a counter-attack and due to the camera not catching up with the play right away, i lost the ball as i was focused on the radar at the bottom.

- Few bugs, clipping, twisting limbs, stuff that should and probably will be fixed for release.

- Love the AI. Reminds me of the PES6 Phoenix patch. AI is intelligent making proper plays and passing. But also making mistakes such as in real life, misplaced passes, etc. Gone is the issue of AI blasting the ball forward such as in PES2013 and relying on long balls.

- Love the fluidity of the game. The animations, and physics, seem so life-like. My only gripe against this is that it feels a little slow, but not so much.

- My problem with this game is player-awareness, which has been in the last few PES games, players standing around when they should be defending, etc. For example, my first goal with Pedro, i had gotten the ball in the opponents penalty box, and the 2nd defender that i ran by didn't challenge me, rather stepped to the side and let me pass.

EDIT: One thing i just noticed, is acceleration. Unlike previous PES games, this is more noticable, seeing players sprint then hit their top speed.

Overall, im loving this game! Currently playing on Top player and really enjoying it, its a joy to score goals. After scoring my first goal i cheered as it were real life, it seems to relieving.

New variable with the Preset Tactics parameters, and the option to now save your Formations within Data Management. Nice touch.

Great list of teams as well, very impressed. Highest yet on console Demo's.

Just Top Player from the off. I've always avoided Superstar as it just amps up the stats of the opposition rather than make them play better.

I'm going to give manual a go so I'll let you know what I think.

Yeah mate but going from the stream I'm watching, Top Player might actually be easier than professional.

Took less than a minute to notice ( on a Night Game) how much better it looks and feels. Very polished in comparison. Sharper, more responsive, and just very noticeably better than the 1st.

The demo was 10 minute games a couple of years back, why change it ?

L1 I have found does nothing in particular during dribbling, and is not mentioned in the command list. How do you use it?

Downloaded the demo..... But the mrs is watching dirty dancing so I can't get on it !

I can't push to play it though.... I need to save it for the full game and GTA.

It's soooooo much better than the leaked demo. I'd say the leaked version felt like 50-60% code, this looks and feels more like 90%. Feels like a retail version.

Not played the CPU, played my son, so not sure how that differs, hopefully the same.

1 V 1 though so a different league to play than Demo 1, you will be blown away. Trust me.

The responsive issues are now sorted, it's smooth and fluid, but still retaining the obvious interia. The shooting has a delayed action feel and less umph than I'd hoped, but it's still good. I feel the response isn't lag, more animation related and the fact they like to take a touch to get control before shooting. We are only talking a split second here, but sometimes that's all it takes.

Graphically it looks much, much better.

Played a couple ofmatchez today and i'm afraid i find the leaked demo much better. Just played on Superstar though,
