PES 2014 Discussion Thread

Yep ... initial European setup would be Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, Eredivisie, La Liga, Zon Sagres, PES League (fake Div1 in ML, usually edited into Bundesliga), WE league (fake Div2 in ML) and Other europe
 
i am pretty pissed off.

In 10 years thay basically haven't altered their ML code. What they did in a decade is to increade D2 from 8 to 20. that's pretty much it. oh yes, adding cutscenes, unexplained training mode or some fake doctors or scout.

Kinda unacceptbale: how long does it take to add 3-4 leagues with empty slots? or the possibility to play it coop on line with friends?

I don't really care for on line anymore, getting too old for all that scumbag stuff...cheaters, lag, disconnection, 99% people choosing barca or brasil etc.

really really disappointed.
 
Yup I'm the same as you, don't play online, only play ML, as I mentioned before I skipped every PES from 6 to 13 and was absolutely shocked ML was essentially the same as I left it.
 
Other than being able to change jobs (no good for me I only ever manage Wednesday) and being able to manage a national team (without further information of how that'll be implemented) there's not been anything else announced as far as I'm aware.

I'm predicting:

Special ankle tape to make you immune from tackling.
Special underwear to give you a lower centre of gravity.

He mate, watching your streming makes the game look gorgeous. I was very skeptical about PES, but what I'm watching there is really a revolution for the franchise, the biggest one in a decade, and I'm really surprised.

Watching you has made me absolutely certain that I will get the game and I will enjoy PES again after so many years.

Hats off, mate, thank you very much. I'll go into more details later on about great things I see in the game.

And I must recognize I was totally wrong about it and Konami has surpassed my expectations in every way, specially in the physicality, ball physics and overall flow of the game.

Simplified? What the fuck? It's already the most simple of manager modes in any football game since about Emlyn Hughes International Soccer!

Interesting.

Hopefully it's Champions League and Europa League integration. I need a good league mode these days as I can't be bothered with the half-fanatsy, half-realistic Master League any more. It's a load of nonsense.

It already was present in PES 2012, IIRC. I remember starting a league with Arsenal and the second match was the CL Play-Off. So I suppose it will be the same this year.

About news "next week"...

Well...

The new Konami motto should be: "Wait and See Next Week".

Correct, but this is Konami we are talking about. Taking things out and re-introducing them as new features isn't beyond them.
